Ladies, I’m not joking, trolling, trying to be funny, or looking for engagement bait. I genuinely believe that if a man does not have a proper career, there are only two explanations. One: he lacked the intellectual ability. He couldn’t get into a good school, couldn’t succeed in a demanding program, or simply wasn’t capable of pursuing a respectable profession. Two: he lacked discipline. He was too lazy, too unmotivated, or too unwilling to put in the work necessary to build a successful career. Either way, these are qualities you should seriously consider when choosing the father of your children. Intelligence, ambition, and self-discipline matter. And while genetics are far more complicated than simply inheriting a parent’s intelligence or work ethic, why wouldn’t you want to give your children the best possible foundation? Think about it.
