We're thrilled to share progress from the DATIS project !
In the first six months, we conducted a pilot survey in the context of DATIS project, funded by @ELIDEK_HFRI .
Figure below, based on preliminary data analysis, presents voters' agreement or disagreement on whether official documents, such as passports and birth certificates, should have a third gender option, next to male and female.
A notable difference occurs between voters of @neademokratia, @velopky, @latinopoulou, @nikhgreece and between voters of parties such as @syriza_gr, @NewLeftGR and @mera25_gr.
During the @ECPR General Conference 2024 in Dublin, @stellatselioy from the @ELIDEK_HFRI funded DATIS research team delivered a presentation titled "The Impact of National Identity and Citizenship on Electoral Behavior and Vote Choice in Greece", using @ISSP_survey.
During the @ECPR General Conference 2024 in Dublin, @sivenoun from the @ELIDEK_HFRI funded DATIS research team presented "Voting Behavior and Attitudes of Voters and Candidates Towards Changing Gender Roles and Family.", using @ISSP_survey data.
During the @ECPR General Conference 2024 in Dublin, @g_milias from @ELIDEK_HFRI funded DATIS team presented "The Impact of Work Orientations on Electoral and Voting Behaviour," examined how various work orientations influence individuals' behavior, using @ISSP_survey data.
The DATIS research team participated in @ECPR General Conference 2024, held in Dublin from August 12th to 15th. @elenmpap from the @ELIDEK_HFRI funded DATIS team presented "Political Attitudes and Digital Society: Comparison of Voters and Candidates" using @ISSP_survey data.
DATIS project, funded by @ELIDEK_HFRI, participated with a presentation by @efteperoglou at EEPE & EKKE event on European Elections 2024, Political and Electoral Analysis, in Athens, on June 14. The presentation discusses the historical patterns of European elections in Greece.
DATIS project, funded by @ELIDEK_HFRI, participated at the @WAPOR 77th & WAPOR Asia Pacific 7th Joint Annual Conference 28–31 July 2024, Seoul, with a presentation by Professor @andreadis_i of methods developed in the new DATIS research project that can be used by @ISSP_survey.
Furthermore, the presentation by @efteperoglou incorporates insights from the DATIS (funded by @ELIDEK_HFRI) 2024 pilot survey on social attitudes towards LGBTQ+ rights in Greece, examining public opinions on topics such as same-sex relationships, adoption rights, and equality.
