Such sad news about Jason Arday tonight. Academic institutions, and all employers, have a duty of care to their staff. People who dedicate their lives to their careers can be especially vulnerable at the lowest points in their lives. Compassion, support and responsibility matter.
Devastating news today.
No child should go to school and not return 😢

The highlight of my year @AthelstanPS 💚
School may be out for summer, but we can't resist looking back to an incredible Takeover Day at Chatsworth House in June 🥰 Nearly 700 children from @athelstanPS took over the stately home for a week!

Amazing feedback from @DaveShawHT at Athelstan Primary School ✨
It’s fantastic to hear that ActivAll has been implemented at both of these schools and continues to be a big hit with the pupils! 🥊🌟

Doors are about to open for our Y6 production at the memorial hall under Sheffield City Hall. A super venue and it’s a sell out 😀🎟️🎭
Just arrived in Whitby with our 90 Y6 children from @AthelstanPS
Singing voices ready for later 🚌😀⚽️
Great for all of us @AthelstanPS to be part of National Museum Takeover Week - what an experience for our children 😀
It was joyous visiting @ChatsworthHouse to see @AthelstanPS's huge, week long takeover of the stately home and gardens. Nearly 700 children tried professional roles across the site!
Our national #TakeoverDay is on Friday 22 November.

It’s our Y6 Festival this evening 😃 we have a silent disco…it’s not as quiet as I thought it would be 🤷♂️😂🎤🎼
Happy #ThankaTeacher day to all of the @AthelstanPS Staff. It was lovely to deliver cards to Teachers this morning with all of the kind comments parents had sent into school, along with a (hopefully lucky) lottery scratch card 🤞

Never underestimate the power of coaching and talking through your issues 💪🏻😀
I’ve had a lovely coaching day today! Started with a really engaging and supportive group coaching session for HTs in their first year for @KALeadersinEd followed by two great 1:1 sessions with @anson_kari and @DaveShawHT A tip top day! 🙌🙌
Thank you to @markjesterselby and @Magician147 for giving your time to our pupils today - they’ve loved meeting you 👏👏
A fantastic afternoon for two of our snooker club members as we visited the Crucible, as part of Media Day, to interview some snooker players. We were the only school there amongst BBC, Sky Sports, Eurosport etc. A brilliant experience for all involved @AthelstanPS
Happy Friday!
