The point that a lot of people miss about online conversations: Conversations here do not aim to ENACT a new way of living. It's just different people coughing out their idiosyncrasies. And you will do well to ask questions that unearth their biases than attacking anyone.

What @_deyemi has done to the timeline is very good. I’m not sure what people think winning takes; it takes a lot, a whole lot of doing the uncomfortable things, and getting no after no.
I did bro… Queen Of Mars - now showing on Prime Video 🥷🏽

Be relatable.
Be Relatable Who do we clap for? It’s not the person who exerted the least effort and received the highest award. Nor is it the person who tried once and succeeded on the first attempt. We clap for those who achieved the highest award after giving it their all. We clap for those who had to try a hundred times before finally getting that one win. Why do we applaud the latter and not the former? Because one is relatable, and the other is not. We know the former is not the norm. In fact, we’re often quick to attribute their success to luck. The latter, on the other hand, represents a journey we’re not only familiar with, but one many of us are currently on. And so, we relate. We appreciate. We clap. With that in mind, I challenge you to be relatable. Yes, you’ve had 80 failures—keep going, because that is exactly what’s normal. You’ve tried again and again and seen no deserved result—try once more, because that’s the process everyone who eventually wins must go through.

Take it for granted that the default response you’d get to most requests is a no. So no single "no" can surprise you. /1 In that case then, you approach each request with the view to turn the default “no” into a yes. /2 For most requests, by most of us, all we need is a single “yes.” More than one yes often means we then have to say no to a yes. Therefore, the sequence in 1 and 2 above is really only iterative until a single yes.

Bamboo appears to be into the business of remittances now. And like Risevest, they also now have a business offering (I think they’ve had the business offering for a while though).

If one focuses on correcting the sins of humans, one would spend literally all one’s time doing so, for humans never run out of clever, creative ways to sin. What I would rather focus on is a much simpler message: You must be born again. Because once you are born again, the nature that constantly finds creative ways to sin is removed, and a new nature, one that is completely focused on pleasing God, no matter the personal sacrifice, including the cutting off of your right hand and the plucking out of your eyes, is planted in you and begins to grow.

Looking forward to what the 2026 would come out to. A working Nigeria is good for all.
Nigeria’s manufacturing sector added 81,174 jobs in 2025, more than double the 34,769 jobs created in 2024, marking a 133.47 percent year-on-year increase despite a sharp slowdown in the second half... Read more: businessday.ng/real-sector/a…

At this point, I no longer care about model advances, at least not so much. 1. For most of the use cases that I have, a combination of Astra 6.1 and Opus 5.5, both on medium, and Astra on fast, is more than excellent. 2. Even for those, I’m yet to fully explore or appreciate their capabilities. If I wanted something more, it would be speed, just because why not. This is, however, not to say the labs should stop pushing the edges; they should, absolutely.

One of the things I want to do is have a (digital) product that I can use to experiment with some of this use cases. I’m really curious and I might yet do it.
Today we're introducing Claude for Ads. Just enter your website and Fastlane finds every winning ad in your market, then makes thousands of better ones for your product in seconds. It launches them, tracks every result, and keeps getting smarter. This is truly insane.

When your “second suffering” comes, I hope it leads you to God, the place of prayer, the throne of grace.

Your relationship with the future as a lot do with if you suffer from second suffering at all and by how much.

C. S. Lewis captured something about the religious leaders’ conclusion below quite beautifully. “The idea of a great moral teacher saying what Christ said is out of the question. In my opinion, the only person who can say that sort of thing is either God or a complete lunatic suffering from that form of delusion, which undermines the whole mind of man. We may note in passing that He was never regarded as a mere moral teacher. He did not produce that effect on any of the people who actually met him. He produced mainly three effects — Hatred — Terror — Adoration. There was no trace of people expressing mild approval.” In the religious leaders, you could quite clearly see the hatred.
One of the things I enjoy about reading the Book of John, especially in The Message version, is how John captures the conversations between Jesus and the religious leaders of His time as intellectual exchanges between learned individuals. Each understood what the other wasn’t saying out loud. The whole conversation is interesting. It goes like this — Jesus: If I set you free, you will be free indeed. Religious Leaders (RL): But we’re descendants of Abraham. We’ve never been slaves to anyone. Jesus: I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. I know you are Abraham’s descendants. But I also know that you are trying to kill me. I’m talking about things I have seen while keeping company with the Father, and you just go on doing what you have heard from your father. RL (Indignant, they said): Our father is Abraham! Jesus: If you were Abraham’s children, you would have been doing the things Abraham did. And yet here you are trying to kill me, a man who has spoken to you the truth he got straight from God! Abraham never did that sort of thing. You persist in repeating the works of your father. RL: We’re not bastards. We have a legitimate father: the one and only God. Jesus: If God were your father, you would love me, for I came from God and arrived here. I didn’t come on my own. He sent me. Why can’t you understand one word I say? Here’s why: You can’t handle it. You’re from your father, the Devil, and all you want to do is please him. RL: That settles it. We were right all along when we called you a Samaritan and said you were crazy—demon-possessed!

One way I use AI to make sure it does its best on my task is to tell it to be “painstaking” as it works. Adjectives will save your life. Haha.

The more you practice Christianity, the more you appreciate the importance of why the law has to be planted in your heart and not just anywhere else. The law in your heart is simply something in you that is pushing you to become more like Jesus. This is in contrast to you reading the law and then wanting to obey it. I think this again as I realised that, over the past few months, all I’ve been reading in the Bible is the book of John. A single book. If I took it for granted that all I therefore know about the word of God is from that book, it would mean all the growth I could get would be what I picked from the book. However, if the law is in my heart, it wouldn’t matter that all I’ve read and know is the single book. The law in my heart would be directing me and working in me to become more like Jesus. Such that it wouldn’t matter if John didn’t capture, as Matthew did in the Sermon on the Mount, that lust is adultery already. The moment I lust, the law in me would flag it for me, and if I am tempted to it, the law in me would constrain me. To arrive at this stage, God first told a long story by choosing the descendants of Abraham and giving them the laws to practice. This was important since that’s the natural propensity for us; we require law to guide us. It is no surprise that Christian, in The Pilgrim’s Progress, took this route too. The few honest amongst us, though, often eventually cry out in great pain and bewilderment, as Paul did when he said, “The things I would, I do not; the things I would not, those I do.” We have the law, we confess it is pure, but we can’t follow it. The law within us, though—now that’s life eternal.

Do not doubt this the slightest bit.
At this point, it is good to conclude that anything that can be done on a computer/online/ browser/app can be done by AI / AI Agents. It is reasonable to start with that assumption and then see where it fails, rather than starting with the assumption of limitations. That’s an incredible run in under 3 years!
