Goths - A Modern Tribe of England I met Daniel recently. He is one of a new generstion of Goths that embrace this subculture and made it their own. Although the new goths have their own musicians and fashions, they also like the originals like Bauhaus, The Cure and Souxsie Soux

Goth subculture has it origins in Punk. So it was good to come across Nathan while I was at Whitby recently working on my long-term project Modern Tribes of England. Nathan straddles both subcultures and describes himself as a 'Punk Goth'.

A great day at Whitby yesterday working on the series Goths - a modern tribe of England. I met a whole raft of new generation Goths like this young woman sprting the classic Souxsie Soux look. And look, I am working in colour fir a change!
