Reminder that the Welsh Government could be offered the moon on a stick and they wouldn't be happy. Shutting down their overseas offices would save nearly £5 million a year.
Welsh government Finance Minister Elin Jones responds to the budget, calling it a “real-terms cut dressed up as a windfall” 👇

Is it appropriate for modern politicians to invoke Nazi persecution of Jews in 1930s Germany to push their agenda? In a Welsh Parliament debate on full-face coverings, Deputy First Minister Sioned Williams made reference to the Nuremberg Laws. Ms Williams said “Jewish people of 1930s Germany were subject to the Nuremberg laws that stated they were no longer German, laws that led to their persecution and extermination by the state that stripped them of their German-ness, enabled by those who believed German-ness could not accommodate diversity.” So, what were the Nuremberg Laws? • Antisemitic statutes enacted by Nazi Germany to ostracise Jews and achieve an imagined racial purification of Aryan society. • The Law for Protection of German Blood and German Honour prohibited marriages and extramarital intercourse between Jews and ethnic Germans, and forbade employment of German women under 45 years old in Jewish households. • The Reich Citizenship law stripped Jews of their German citizenship and classed them as “enemies of the race-based state”. • On 14th November 1935 a supplementary decree was passed defining who was Jewish. They were implemented by the Nazi regime, who would go on to slaughter six million Jews in the Holocaust. Using the horrendous persecution of Jews to score political points does nothing to improve the standard of debate or tackle hatred in society. All politicians have a duty to speak responsibly, especially when antisemitism is rampant across Britain. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmd7…

Whether ultra-conservative Muslims wearing the niqab, or masked-up gangs of youths terrorising our communities, face coverings fuel our growing low-trust society and should not be tolerated. It’s time to ban them.

UPDATE: A win for Reform UK. Following concerns over alleged anti-Reform comments at Brecon High School, the council has confirmed they'll pursue it and remind all schools of their duty to uphold impartiality. Schools should educate our children, not indoctrinate them.
This is outrageous. Reform MS @DavidMillsMS has written to the Director of Education over a teacher allegedly describing Reform UK as "bad" people who are "mean" to illegal migrants. All teachers at Brecon High School should be politically impartial, not left-wing activists.

Today, on the 60th anniversary of the Aberfan Disaster, we remember the 144 lives lost, 116 of them children. We will never forget.
Today we remember Aberfan.

Left-wing violence is now one of the greatest threats facing our civilisation.
If we don’t wake up, the carnage in France is our future. We need to return to law, order, and borders.

How humiliating. They've gone full banana republic and pulled out the reparations begging bowl. Desperate stunts like these by separatists, intent on painting themselves as victims, are beneath us all. This does not reflect the view of most Welsh people.

James is right. Our welfare programme needs to be overhauled, as does our tax system. Working people should benefit most. That’s what Reform will do.
Reform is the party of alarm clock Britain.

100% this! @DavidMillsMS is correct.
Thank you @ArchRose90 for sharing this. Teachers shouldn’t be using the classroom to denigrate a legitimate and leading political party. How widespread is this kind of politicisation in our schools? Parents deserve to know their children are being taught, not indoctrinated.

A Powys school has been accused of political indoctrination following allegations a teacher made a series of anti-Reform comments to pupils. A pupil has claimed the teacher at Brecon High School described Nigel Farage's party as "bad", responding with "good man" when a pupil agreed with the statement. 📸 Senedd Cymru #reformuk #nigelfarage #wales

🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Whisky tasting in France. Cannes Film Festival tickets. A £1,300 dinner in Dublin. Campervans hired for festivals. All paid for by YOU on the Welsh Government’s credit card since Plaid Cymru took office in May. And they thought no one would notice, given it took an FOI request from me to find out. You can tell a lot about a government by what they think they can get away with spending on in their first few months in office. Keir Starmer was rightly called out for receiving gifts worth tens of thousands of pounds. At least he didn’t force the taxpayer to foot the bill for his frivolous items. Rhun ap Iorwerth’s government is a different story. Taxpayers should be angry, and they deserve answers.

Did you know the Welsh Government runs 20 overseas 'mini embassies' across four continents?   While our public services are in dire straits, Plaid Cymru separatists are funnelling millions into their state-building project   Today I called on the First Minister to shut them down

We can’t go on like this. Burnham is shovelling more money into a ballooning welfare state that creates more dependants every year. Meanwhile hamstrung businesses aren’t taking on new staff.
