I worked with over the counter pain killers and also stronger medications.
I’ve always said 80% of Acetaminophen/Paracetamol use/sales was really unnecessay. Same for Ibuprofen etc.
In Australia we now have ads on TV for pain killers, telling women that their doctor has been historically sexist by not suggesting more pain relief for women. Our government departments and industry bodies are busy with dei and cake meetings and not doing their jobs well. These companies target women, mothers and babies. Its about getting you comfortable to take them early and hence for life. Its greed.
