Jews, harkening to the days of pogroms, told to stay in their homes and planes being sent to rescue them. But not on ESPN as reported by the Associated Press. In that medium there are just “clashes” of equal groups of fans and “apparent pro-Palestinian” protestors. No antisemitism seen by the AP. Incredible. The decision by Hamas to execute the hostages was a calculated decision that the more atrocities they do, the better they fare. The Harris answers on Israel were inadequate. Her policy was “to get a deal” but she outlined no prerequisites such as end to Hamas rule for such a deal. Of course, she did not note Israel has several times accepted US terms while Hamas has rejected them — and her idea for a two state solution is far removed from the reality that Iran (with newly infused funding from Biden administration ease of sanctions) is funding groups on all sides dedicated to the destruction of Israel. Oct 7th wasn’t about self determination but about the elimination of Israel.

Now is the time to support Israel to deter terror and stop the rockets and missiles being launched at the country on a daily basis by Iran and all its proxies. This administration has lost all credibility as a deterrent when it failed to stop the Houthis from disrupting all shipping. And emboldens them daily even striking plea deals with mass 9/11 murderers! Kill 3000 Americans and you get a plea. Unbelievable. Israel, if attacked, will likely wipe out Iran’s nuclear facilities if I had to guess, something the rest of the world has failed to stop. If only we had a president and a team capable of ending these conflicts rather than emboldening those who chant “Death to Israel, Death to America.”

“These are not the droids you are looking for.” But of course they are. The future of news lies in honest, frank coverage of news and information regardless of who it helps politically. And the future of democracy lies in trusting the voters not prosecutors to make rational decisions based on their own lives and experiences.
