☀️🍦 A Summer Sweet Treat is coming to your SimTown! From July 14–28, summer will be in full swing, and we're kicking things off with everything you need to create your very own Frozen Yogurt Shop and sunny social spot. Collect daily Inbox gifts, unlock swimwear for Sims of all ages, open the brand-new Sundae Funday Mystery Box, and earn rewards through a special community challenge. Over the two weeks, you can collect Frozen Yogurt Shop items from both daily Inbox gifts and Sundae Funday Mystery Box rewards. We’ll also be giving away plenty of Mystery Box Keys to help you unlock more pieces, but each key will only be available for one day, so be sure to check back daily to collect them all! And because every great summer celebration is better when the whole town gets involved, we're challenging the FreePlay community to complete a combined total of 4 million Daily Tasks in FreePlay before July 28. If the goal is reached, everyone will unlock the final pieces needed to complete their Frozen Yogurt Shop: the Pine Frozen Yogurt Toppings Bar and the Vanilla Frozen Yogurt Counter. HUD Refresh 🕹️ We’re refreshing the HUD to make it easier to see what’s happening as you play. Your selected Sim now has more room to showcase what makes them unique, and Live Events have been added to the HUD so they’re easier to keep track of. New Build Mode Camera Option 🏡 Switch to a brand-new side-on camera angle to fine-tune every detail of your Sim’s home. Prefer the classic top-down view? You can swap back anytime. 5 More Landgraab Ventures Upgrades 🏪 Five more SimTown locations can now be upgraded, with new perks including roof décor through the Real Estate Agency and the ability for Sims to wear multiple accessories through the Science Lab. Introducing the Livin' Large Town Expansion! We're super excited about this one. In the next update, your SimTown is getting some highly requested additions: ✨ 7 new unlockable Sims 📈 10 new player levels (65 → 75) 🏪 Landgraab Ventures introduces a new way to upgrade the stores in your SimTown for special bonuses. SimTown’s next glow up! 💡 We’re a few weeks away from the next update, but we couldn’t wait to share some exciting news. Earlier this year, we introduced Enhanced Lighting for Home Lots. Soon, that beautiful glow will spread to your favorite Community Spaces! In the next update, you’ll see Enhanced Lighting in The Park, Community Market, Influence Island, and the Nightclub. It adds a richer atmosphere and natural light that shifts throughout the day, all tuned to your device for smooth, seamless play. It’s best experienced on newer devices (3 GB RAM and A11 chip / Mali G57 or Adreno 640 and above). If your device doesn’t meet these specs, Classic Lighting will be automatically selected. Prefer the original look? You can switch at any time by going to Options > Graphics > Classic. The choice is yours!
