There’s a certain charm in local southern high school football broadcasts.
No journalism training, just L.W. Stevens of “Stevens Ford, GMC and Chrysler” doing this part time on a Friday night. Goes to church with half these boys and plans to run for a seat in city commission.

The tallest kid at the youth level gets stuck on the block, never develops a perimeter game.
By freshman year of high school, he's the same size as everyone else and has no role on the team.

They need to get better at the things that actually happen in games:
Catch → read → attack.
Change of pace → advantage.
Drive → help → pass.
Cut → screen → relocate.
Closeout → contain → rebound.
Skill development should look like basketball... not a highlight reel.
