Sadiq Khan wants banks to stay in London, but is too frightened to criticize Labour's forthcoming bank tax hikes.
Why should internationally mobile banks pay almost twice as much tax as banks in the US and be regarded as some kind of piggy bank for HMRC?
“Hundreds of thousands of jobs are created in the financial sector, including the banks. I want them not just to stay here, but I want banks to come here as well," said Khan, while refusing to criticize Labour's new attack on banks.
Khan needs to decide whether his job is sticking up for London or sticking up for the Labour Party.

NHS consultants earn thousands of pounds overtime for each weekend they are on call. They get 38 days holiday. They don't work Fridays (look how empty hospital car parks are on Fridays). They get 24% pension contributions given to them. They are greedy bastards.

Britain paid about £19k per worker to be members of the EU, so we could negotiate associate membership for britons who would like to rejoin.
In exchange freedom of movement and an EU passport, Britons could choose to pay £19k/pa directly to the EU and pay an extra 20% VAT directly to the EU on everything they buy, which is manufactured outside of the EU (in the UK for instance).

And it's a sticking plaster. A short-term fix for a long-term problem. Many people sleeping rough are also dealing with addiction, mental health problems and trauma. A tent moved from one doorway to another solves none of that.
