GPT-Rosalind surfaced a new lead for drug discovery: could restoring cholesterol transport protect neurons from degeneration? DCTN1 is a gene linked to Perry syndrome, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. In mouse-brain data, disrupting it increased expression of genes involved in making cholesterol. GPT-Rosalind suggested a possible explanation: cholesterol may not be reaching where neurons need it. That gives scientists a specific mechanism to test and, if confirmed, a direction for developing new treatments for neurodegenerative disorders. With @perturbai_tx and @scrippsresearch, a team of thousands of GPT-Rosalind agents worked in parallel, connecting gene-expression results from millions of mouse brain cells with scientific literature in just 32 minutes. OpenAI models helped researchers—operating as part of our Patch the Planet initiative—discover critical security flaws in PHP, an open-source programming language used to run an estimated 70% of websites. Over the past two months, we led a coalition of maintainers, researchers, and security providers to prepare fixes and protections ahead of disclosure. This duration was necessary because the fix was quite intricate and required a major change to the PHP engine. Every site using PHP can now safely upgrade their version to stay secure, in addition to applying mitigations from various security vendors. Due to the severity of these flaws and PHP’s widespread use, we consider this bug to be one of the most impactful vulnerabilities in recent memory. It also marks a new phase, where AI can find security bugs with internet-scale impact. OPENAI AND GOOGLE STRIKE MAJOR AI DISTRIBUTION DEAL OpenAI will bring its frontier AI models, including GPT-6 Astra, and Codex to Google Cloud in the coming weeks. Enterprise customers will be able to purchase them through Google Cloud Marketplace, using existing cloud spending commitments. The agreement follows OpenAI's expansion to AWS after its exclusive Microsoft distribution arrangement ended.

刚才看刘思毅的视频，说知识付费整个行业坍塌了。是因为AI时代干货不缺了，到处都是干货。整个行业的底层逻辑发生了变化。 我们的判断是：知识付费已死，知识服务崛起。我们就做的挺好，就一个小助理，做AI商业，近两年做了500万。 之前卖的是培训，现在卖的是服务，重交付，让客户有结果。从前端的培训到后面的定制化的AI员工，再到私教的指导以及项目的陪跑。今年就吸引了10多个几十万的陪跑项目。 客户买的不是知识，而是改变/结果；知识服务公司最终要做成“咨询 + 软件 + 教练/陪跑”的综合体。 第一，要做一个咨询公司。客户找到你的时候，你得第一时间定位出客户真正的问题是什么。 比如说，最近有一个线下服装店的老板找到我，他说他拍了一些视频，数据不好。我马上问他：你是缺体感呢，缺方法呢，还是缺行动力呢？背后是有很多原因的。如果没有找到真正的原因，给他一堆做短视频的方法论，也落不了地。有的人可能就是短视频拍得太少了，只拍了20条，他缺的根本不是方法，他缺的是体感。 那么找到真正的问题以后，该怎么落地呢？这个时候就要有 AI。 所以知识服务公司是一个软件公司：你未来大概率的趋势，不是教客户怎么落地，你是直接把它干了；或者说你开发一个系统给到客户，客户傻瓜式地把内容做出来。 第三，更加重要：你以为给了系统就能落地吗？不是。客户落地的过程中，需要一个漫长的过程，他会碰到各种各样的问题。所以知识服务公司为了让客户有结果，还必须给客户当教练、做陪跑。 最终，一个有竞争力的知识服务公司，必须是咨询公司、软件公司、教练公司和陪跑公司的综合体。 知识只是起点，改变才是终点。
