The Dawn Experience

Get ready to feel the Purple heat on the big screen On the 29th in 2026 the Prince Estate and NPG Records just announced Prince: 3121 Las Vegas Concert, a previously unseen 154-minute concert film of the January 20, 2007 performance from Prince’s legendary Las Vegas residency. It hits theaters in the U.S. and Canada for a limited run beginning December 3, with tickets going on sale November 11. This is the real deal: a full-length, high-energy capture of Prince in peak form during the 3121 era, presented in 4K with Dolby Atmos available at equipped theaters. It spans the catalog—hits like “Purple Rain,” “Kiss,” “If I Was Your Girlfriend,” and “U Got the Look,” deep cuts and extended jams from 3121 and Musicology, plus covers including “Pass the Peas,” “Crazy,” and “Play That Funky Music.” The setlist moves with that unmistakable Prince fluidity, blending the slick, sensual studio energy of 3121 with the raw, improvisational fire he brought to the stage. Coming on the heels of the restored Sign O’ the Times concert film, this one promises the same communal thrill: a dark theater, massive sound, and Prince commanding every second for over two and a half hours. Fans who’ve been chasing the vault and the live magic of that mid-2000s period are about to get exactly what they’ve been craving—on the biggest screen possible. It was announced today, October 29, 2026, as part of the full 3121 20th-anniversary rollout (expanded edition with vault tracks arrives December 11; the matching live album hits Record Store Day Black Friday on November 27). Mark November 11. Don’t sleep on this limited theatrical run—this is Prince live, loud, and larger than life. #PrinceOnThisDay
