When Will We Stop Promoting the ruwaybidah and Enemies of the Deen?! There is a traditional perspective, prevalent in the era of weakness that we are living through, which needs to change. It is the perspective that speaks about benefits and harms, and choosing the lesser of two evils in matters of politics. This is applied by choosing representatives of Muslim communities or Muslim populations who hold deviant ideas or promote ideologies that clash with Islam. The traditional viewpoint, which Islamists have been repeating for decades, is this: when compared with the opposing candidate (who is usually a racist right-winger), choosing this candidate (a Democrat or left-winger) wards off some evil. In my view, two matters are missing from this simplistic traditional argument: - Firstly: Does the left-wing or Democratic candidate really ward off evil? Have previous experiences been examined comprehensively? Has the extent to which restrictions against Muslims, attempts to integrate Muslim communities and divert them from their deen, or reinterpret their deen to make it compatible with liberalism, are connected to the ruling party or individual actually in power, been studied? In other words, are these party policies, or are they policies of a deep state and security plans that transcend differences between successive governments? Have we not learned the lesson from the similarities between the policies of Democratic and Republican presidents in America towards the issue of Palestine? And are the differences in statements and certain measures really so significant that they justify legitimising and polishing the image of certain candidates? - Secondly: Why do those who invoke the principle of "benefits and harms" pay no attention to the harms resulting from elevating certain personalities to symbolic status (Zohran Mamdani, Abdulrahman Al-Sayed and others)? Can any rational person be unaware of the religious harm caused to the minds and hearts of younger generations by elevating, or granting popular legitimacy to, a person who supports the rights of "those people", gender transition, advocates teaching their subjects and gender identities in schools, supports abortion and adopts secularism? Are not the greatest benefits those of the Hereafter, namely preserving people's deen and ensuring the soundness of their understanding and awareness?! And let nobody say: There is no elevation to symbolic status and no promotion. For the reality over many years has been that supporting a person to confront an extremist right-wing movement goes hand in hand with elevating that person to symbolic status and widely disseminating their speeches. This is a form of promoting falsehood and elevating the status of insignificant nobodies among the enemies of the deen who promote deviant concepts. Every person who promotes this bears responsibility for any young man or woman influenced by this publicity and by the opinions and positions of that personality. This is an increasingly dangerous matter in the weak Muslim communities in Western countries, where it is unfortunately easy to assimilate a Muslim into a liberal conception that constructs an Islam reconciled with liberalism under the pressure of external forces, and now also under the pressure of image-polishing and promotion! There is no harm comparable to this harm, because it concerns the destruction of one's Hereafter, that is, one's true and eternal life! In contrast, the anticipated benefits of choosing so-and-so as a mayor or a member of a government council amount to nothing when set against these harms. Furthermore, warding off harms takes precedence over acquiring benefits, as is well known! Someone might say: But some of these people pray, and their wives wear hijab! ⏬️ ⏬️

Hating the current government does not mean a person should support or even soften towards MDP. One of the way Shaytan tricks people is that to oppose one evil, they end up supporting the opposite evil, while the Muslim should oppose all evil, especially oppose the Tawaghit and their supporters.
