Who would’ve thought a little post about introducing a transfer window in grassroots football would cause this much interaction 😂 Clearly touched a nerve or two! 🤣 Anyway, shouldn’t be drinking on a school night… ⚽️🍻😂

Mental how many grassroots clubs in Norfolk are competing in leagues without even having a ground of their own. A football club should be about more than just putting a team out on a Saturday. Identity, community and somewhere to call home.

Grassroots football needs a transfer window, just like the pros. Far too easy for players to jump ship mid-season and managers to approach players already signed elsewhere. A bit more structure, respect and loyalty wouldn’t go amiss. ⚽
