Itโs nothing to do with Russia, nothing to do with a war like event, itโs do with constant failures from repeated governments (including both cheeks of the same corrupt arse) on ENERGY! Itโs their constant, corrupted obsession on โNet Zeroโ agenda which has left us in an unacceptable and perilous position. This is what happens when you think wind & solar can power & keep a country running without our main dependence being on fossil fuels. Bit of a coincidence that they are now scrambling with drilling restarting in the North Sea!
