Today Y5 participated in a Guinness World record challenge for National Year of Reading. They enjoyed a live short reading from Frank Cottrell-Boyce. They then participated in a national read for 10 mins together to help create a new record.
Well done year 5!

We've had over 100 children sign up for @JuniorDukeAward this year - we can't wait to work with you and see the creative ways that you approach the tasks!
Thank you to Quinta Christian Centre, @AdventurePlusUK , Gracious Catering and Park Hall Farm for being part of our amazing Y6 residential trip last week and for helping to make it so special. Thanks to all of the staff that went and most of all thanks to our amazing children!
A massive well done to our cross-country team on a fantastic first race of the year! Great to see some familiar faces & some new runners- every single one of them did a brilliant job. They showed great determination, enthusiasm & sportsmanship
We are really pleased to be working with @JuniorDuke again this year to offer the World's Leading Life Skills Award for Children encouraging independence, confidence, resilience & self-motivation.
Look out for an email for more information as to how to sign up
As their legacy, our Y6 leavers chose 3 charities for the school to support this term @mariecurieuk @WaterAidUK @guidedogs #agentsofchange #charity
As part of our behaviour approach, our pupils are awarded tokens for going 'above & beyond'. Our children choose 3 charities to support each term & donate their tokens to their chosen charity. These tokens are then converted into monetary donations to support those charities.
We are so happy to be able to live out our school vision of Love God, Love your neighbour and Love yourself by supporting @The_Blue_Cross @crisis @RainforestTrust @pauldixtweets #charity, #democracy, #agentsofchange
We hope your child has settled back in and is enjoying the new school year. Autumn is always a busy term packed full of new learning so we are pleased to share our Autumn programmes of study with you ; these have been sent via Seesaw and are available on our website.
