Our ancient Iran is a country born of history, which has traversed countless ups and downs to this day, emerging triumphant from terrifying storms. The guides of Iran and the Iranian people, along this long path, have been luminaries who have become the pillars of our national identity.
The most renowned among them is Cyrus the Great, who founded the first empire in world history on the principles of the freedom of nations, equality, and human rights, and the last among them was His Imperial Majesty Aryamehr, who, by holding the magnificent 2,500-year celebrations of the Iranian monarchy, immortalized the name of Cyrus, and reminded every Iranian that they bear the responsibility of safeguarding and continuing the path of this great king for their homeland.
Our Iran, to this day, has triumphed over all these historical hardships, and has always risen like a phoenix from its ashes, and I have no doubt that today as well, with the final victory of light over darkness, it will emerge proud and victorious from this, its last historical struggle.
