Goliath only lives bc DAVID allows it!
OpenClaw is incredible. We have a custom internal version called Goliath and it scraped 350 leads in 10 minutes, built us websites for all 350, sent postcards to the owners of those 350 companies with QR codes to scan to see the websites we made for them, and now have clients from this mini-campaign. $7 in tokens, 10 minutes of work, 6 active monthly clients now from it. Watch and learn!

In today's episode of "This Week in AI" I cover @AnthropicAI's latest forays into curing cancer and other diseases, some big moves they have made there, progress with @claudeai, and more. Furthermore, @OpenAI had some interesting news, @Google has a new model, and a few other interesting tidbits. Check it out below!

One of the main points of using AI is to get yourself out of the day to day so you can focus on the bigger picture. If you're only surviving day to day then it's hard to work towards a bigger vision. AI is a huge unlock to hand off the tedious small stuff.

How do you know the AI consulting/implementation company you're hiring actually knows what they're doing? I'm genuinely concerned about how many companies are investing in AI agents, custom models, and complex implementations without properly vetting the people they're hiring. It's easier than ever to sound knowledgeable about AI. Anyone can ask Claude to generate a list of discovery questions, audit frameworks, or technical recommendations before a sales call. That doesn't necessarily mean they understand how to architect, deploy, secure, or maintain the systems they're selling. My advice: Interview your AI company. Yesterday, I was in a pre-kickoff meeting where the client essentially interviewed me. They asked detailed questions about middleware, integration architecture, our AI agent harnesses, and why we've chosen NVIDIA and Apple hardware for certain local, on-prem deployments. Here are a few of the technical questions that came up: "When would you choose an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), an API gateway, or direct service integrations, and why?" "How does middleware manage the request and response lifecycle?" "How do you handle scoped dependencies when middleware is instantiated as a singleton?" "How do you enforce encryption in transit between application and service layers?" "How would your AI agent harness operate in a fully air-gapped warehouse environment?" I loved these questions. They required us to explain our architectural decisions, the tradeoffs involved, and how our systems actually operate. And I think more companies should be doing this. If someone is going to have access to your company's data, internal processes, customer information, and critical infrastructure, you should understand what they're building and why. Ask them to diagram their architecture. Ask what happens when something fails. Ask how they handle security, observability, and maintenance. Ask them why they chose one technology over another. And if the answers don't make sense, keep asking. You don't need to be an engineer to hold an AI implementation company accountable. Please be willing to ask good questions and expect clear, defensible answers. If you're evaluating an AI company and don't know what to ask, I'd be happy to send you my technical vetting checklist. You can use it with any vendor, including us. And if we end up working together, even better :) @getdavidai getdavid.ai

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 This is something that has been on my mind a lot lately ^^^ Operating from a place of faith and optimism will always beat operating from a place of fear and negativity.

100% agree with this. The CTO or CAIO (which we do fractionally) will organize the brain, compile the context, connect the system/create an internal AI OS, manage the data lake, build custom agents throughout to act autonomously, optimize profit margins, etc. It’s an exciting time!
In the not-so-distant future, every CPG brand will have a CTO.

So @OpenAI⁩ and @claudeai ⁨seem to be finding hacks across the internet, @AnthropicAI debuts a "Duet" personal agent, @jack Dorsey launches an incredible new voice agent called "Dessa", and some robotics news, including "Warhounds" on today's episode of "This Week in AI".

Most companies know that they want or need AI, but don't know where to start. It's why we offer an AI Audit/Blueprint at DAVID AI where we'll tell you exactly where AI best fits and exactly what to build. Call our AI employee, Kora, and she'll gather some information from you and I'll tell you one area where AI would be a grand slam for you and we can jump on a call to walk through it. Kora: 801-421-4850. Call shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes.

My weekly “This Week in AI” episodes on YouTube are pretty solid tbh. Just full recaps in around 12 minutes of everything that happened in the last week in the world of AI. Here’s the one from last week: youtu.be/UgtQo-jbqDE?is=iCoR…

In 2023 I built my first custom GPT. It’s crazy how far we’ve come since then. AI is the worst it will ever be and it gets better every single day. Can’t wait for what’s next!

At @getdavidai we focus on the 3 S's when helping a business implement AI: SAVE: Will AI help us save time or money? STREAMLINE: Where can we use AI to streamline a workflow? SCALE: How will implementing AI help us scale (ie make more money or grow without dramatically adding headcount)? Every AI solution you want to implement should check one of these boxes or a combination of 2-3.

Something about startup life that I'm learning is that the lows often feel weightier than the highs. It's the purpose behind what you're doing, whether that's a personal reason or shared company vision, that keeps you going. Love what we're building at DAVID AI and we're just getting started!

So ⁨@meta⁩ just debuted their new frontier model "Wonder" and "Wonder Full" and officially is going neck and neck with ⁨@OpenAI⁩ and @AnthropicAI. @claudeai launched "Motion" and it's amazing. New announcements from ⁨@Google⁩ on their "Gemini" agent and ⁨@Microsoft⁩ is leveling up too. All that plus some interesting robotics developments. Get the full recap of AI from the last week in this video!

I'm curious why anyone would prefer an offshore Executive Assistant vs just using AI now? I can't think of one good reason it would make more sense to pay someone from overseas a few hundred to $1k+ vs just using AI. What am I missing?

Grok @bot is great for professionals and those who are more AI fluent. @Muse has been simple enough for my mom to enjoy. I prefer Grok Bot but Muse is moving up the chain!

My family and I said goodbye to our home of over 30 years last week in Utah to move across the country to North Carolina. We will be living in the Charlotte area and I’m looking to network with other business owners and leaders. If you’re out this way and interested in AI, sales, or just want to hang please hit me up. I’ll mostly be working from my home office until we expand out here more but send me the cool spots to work!
