We are thrilled to be hosting another multi-platinum recording artist and icon in the 80's. Please welcome Debbie Gibson to the first ever Rewind Washington convention on March 28th and 29th in 2026. Debbie Gibson is an iconic American singer, songwriter, producer, and actress who rose to fame in the late 1980s. Music surrounded her from childhood, writing her first song at age five and signing her first record deal as a teenager. Her breakthrough came with her 1987 debut album Out of the Blue, which went triple platinum and spawned hits like "Only in My Dreams" and "Shake Your Love." At just 17, Gibson made history as the youngest artist ever to write, produce, and perform a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Foolish Beat," earning a Guinness World Record she still holds as the youngest female to achieve this feat. She followed with another self-penned chart-topper, "Lost in Your Eyes," and has sold over 16 million albums worldwide across 11 studio releases. Beyond music, she transitioned successfully into theater, starring in 17 Broadway and West End musicals over 17 years, including Les Misérables and Grease. Today, Gibson remains a dynamic force in entertainment, releasing new music, touring, authoring her memoir Eternally Electric: The Message in My Music, and connecting with fans through live performances and appearances. With a career spanning more than 35 years, she continues to inspire as a multifaceted creative pioneer. Meet Debbie Saturday and Sunday at Rewind Washington. She will be with us signing autographs, taking photos, and speaking on a panel at the show. Tickets for Rewind Washington are on sale now at rewindwashington.com
