Work on some nearing deadlines VS watch Chinese period drama…popcorn and chill it is 😂
On a serious note, there’s nothing wrong or bad about taking time to rest and take care of your mental / emotional health. Being stressed and working 24/7 amounts to a lot of regret.
Imagine sitting in a non-judgemental space with peers and colleagues discussing important topics every current and/aspiring researcher wants answers for. 👉🏽 gla.ac.uk/schools/education/…
But there’s a difference…they choose to do it scared and grow, not caring what anyone else thinks or has to say about it.
Also, they CHOOSE to build the right habits to support their desires. If they can, why can’t you?

It’s not a coincidence when the two times you’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid, you are not in the country it’s happening in 🤦🏽♀️.
Jeezz….what’s a girl gotta do to be able to show up for these things eh?
It’s common knowledge that our generation is overworked, overly stressed and over stimulated.
However, I wonder if we have begun to realize how damaging these negatives have been on our normal human psychology.
I’ve been learning to trust God with everything recently. Funny enough, my life isn’t the fairy tale I thought it would be. At each stage till this point, things didn’t go the way I thought they would except this year.
This year, God changed my narrative.
I haven’t got it all figured out yet, and sometimes I wonder if I’m ready for what God has in store…but then I remember that it’s not about me, it’s about Him.
The road leading here isn’t perfect. There’s still so much left incomplete, but I know my God is faithful.
Rediscovering yourself can be scary, painful, uncertain and trying…but in the end, it can be one of the most beautiful experiences to have, especially when God is in the driver’s seat.
Don’t be too scared of the present and the past or you might miss the future.
Don’t let the scary terrains of life discourage you from venturing through the path. It may be long, you may get weary, doubt may grow, you may get hurt…but in the end, the reward wipes all the tears, frustrations and pain away.

The road ahead may feel long and uncertain, but don’t let it discourage you.
That’s just what it seems. It’s not ALL that it is. So take a breath, step forward and keep marching on.

Even in the scariest moments…He is there. I thought my story would go a different way, but alas…He has different plans.
Plans of Good and NOT of evil. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Don’t let the devil steal away the victories you can celebrate even in the midst of trials.. 💜
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t be the person God has called you to be.
Don’t let anything deceive you into thinking that you’re not good enough. You are BRILLIANT enough.
Walk in His path and watch Him open the doors. 💜
