50 members of the U.K. House of Lords are urging the Home Secretary to bar @Macklemore from entering the United Kingdom ahead of his #FreePalestine concert in London.
Led by Lord Walney, they want Macklemore’s electronic travel authorization revoked, citing allegations concerning the Palestinian Youth Movement, which is due to receive some of the concert proceeds.
The move targets Macklemore’s outspoken support for Palestinian liberation and comes amidst controversy over his removal from Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour following his pro-Palestine advocacy.
The Home Office had yet to announce whether it would act on the request.

We demand Labour’s legal advice on Israel’s Gaza genocide be published. All of it.
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham says only a court can decide genocide. The ICJ ordered Israel to prevent genocide in 2024. A UN Commission found genocide in 2025.
Palestinians deserve the truth.
ALT Open UK Parliament petition titled “Launch a public inquiry into the UK’s role in Israeli operations in Gaza.” The petition calls for a fully independent public inquiry into any British involvement in Israeli operations in Gaza since October 2023. It specifically asks the inquiry to examine: the sale, supply or use of weapons; the use of surveillance aircraft and RAF bases; what intelligence was collected during RAF flights; and what legal advice the UK Government has sought on whether a genocide has taken place in Gaza. The petition states that the UK has played a vital role in Israeli military operations in Gaza. Status shows as Open, with Sign and Share buttons visible. The petition is signed by Jennifer Forbes with an expiring date of 23 April 2027.

Dr. Jeevun Sandher has been the Labour MP for Loughborough since 2024.
Jeevun had a very successful career as an economist before becoming an MP. He was a co-sponsor of @kimleadbeater’s Assisted Suicide Bill.
When it gets a bit cold in Loughborough, Jeevun is able to escape to the house he owns in Spain. Jeevun is married to the Labour MP Louise Sandher-Jones. Louise has been the MP for North East Derbyshire since 2024 and is a former British army officer and ‘intelligence professional’.
Jeevun is also a member of The Fabian Society’s executive committee.
