Dubai’s DIFC Courts want their rulings enforced straight onchain
@DIFCCourts published a white paper today proposing the Dispute Resolution Oracle, a system that would carry court decisions directly onto blockchains. A judge or arbitrator decides the case offchain, and the oracle then freezes, returns, splits, or moves only the disputed asset. It will only cover projects that sign up before a dispute starts, and it can never reach the underlying network.
Pilots with tokenized real-world assets will run on a test network first. Dubai firm @Deca4HQ advised on the technology, and @0xPolygon, @AvaLabs, @ethereuminsti, @Kleros_io, and @ADI_Foundation reviewed the plan. The court already records notary work on @hedera, and since October its court orders carry credentials on @avax.

Yesterday, the DIFC Courts published The Dispute Resolution Oracle, a white paper proposing a way for court decisions to be carried out on tokenised assets.
This is part of the Courts of the Future initiative, launched by DIFC Courts and Dubai Future Foundation (DFF).
