"If USAID withdraws funding for HIV services in Nigeria, ... I can be angry at Trump, but in a very secondary, remote sense that my primary person who has offended me is the president of Nigeria or the governor of the state of Nigeria, where I come from." - @seyeabimbola

As we prepare for Season 3 of @unfiltered_gh podcast, we can't help but be grateful for the support that made season 2 a success. Specifically, we thank @DecolonisingGH for the grant that helped us produce season 2 and launch the GHU Blog! @seyeabimbola & @BilardiDavide 🙏🙏🙏
Excited to kickstart a new era of inclusive research!
Our first #DecolonizingGlobalHealthResearch meeting, backed by the visionary support of @wellcometrust, is ongoing.
We are committed to reshaping perspectives, amplifying marginalized voices, and fostering true collaboration

The new words and concepts I take from #day01 of the @wellcometrust @KEMRI_Kenya @DecolonisingGH decolonization meeting are:
1-Coloniality
2-Decoloniality
3-Epistemic Humility
I observed that this meeting is similar to the work we did during @MRF_Africa scholars workshops.

Ah, decolonization😍!
I can't find words to describe how proud and excited I am to represent @unfiltered_gh at the @DecolonisingGH meeting hosted by @KEMRI_Kenya in Kilifi, Kenya.
Ps: The podcast received the decolonizing global health network’s small grant a few months ago.
Happy to be working with you on this project and looking forward to the insights and learning this project will generate
Glad to announce that my research work with indigenous Bulsa Healers won the Decolonisation Small Grant Award from @wellcometrust via the Decolonisation & Global Health Research Exchange Network.

Timely piece! Respecting the dignity of marginalised knowers. Research redefined!
Please read my new essay in @TheLancet — When dignity meets evidence: thelancet.com/journals/lance…
There's a kind of knowledge practice we may call 'dignity-based practice'. It respects the dignity of marginalised knowers. It's been slow to take off, unlike 'evidence-based practice'.
