Victory! Ghent University is finally severing ties with Israeli universities (producing military equipment used in Gaza!). Thanks to months of pressure, intense student and staff protests, and finally our students' occupation. 👏

Palestinians risked life & limb to reach Rafah, the last designated safe zone in Gaza.
Now they are being told to leave. Where are they supposed to go?
This is not an “evacuation.” This is ethnic cleansing — and our government is complicit by letting Israel act with impunity.
Encourage anyone with @rcgp membership to raise why a transphobic conference was booked in the first place. Shocked that @ClareGerada is a conference speaker, standing alongside psychs whose whole work focuses on preventing gender affirming care.
We're still waiting to hear news from @rcgp on how they intend to address concerns about conversion therapists holding an event in their conference centre and using trust in their credibility to confer legitimacy on to the conversion therapists.

Today is #InternationalDayofPersonsWithDisability and it almost feels trite or dismissive to even acknowledge given the globe’s complicity in the Palestinian genocide—both in leaving disabled people in Gaza to die while the west’s violence by proxy disables thousands more.
