Two things cut through for me:
➡️Leading through ambiguity. In a world where rapid decision making is often praised, this describes when masterful inaction is better. Then decide.
➡️In a submarine (and ASW ship), all this ambiguity is managed by deep🙄experts - command/operators/maintainers and huge & refined systems…that are all yards apart. Separate these by a 100 miles, shrink them, then try and mitigate this by communicating through a medium that basically doesn’t allow it…and you can see why ASW will be the last warfare discipline to tradition totally to AI/Autonomy.
