2025 was a defining year for us.
We spent the year deep in code, pushing our limits as auditors, builders, and researchers — and the results speak for themselves.
🔐 Security Work
• 25+ private audits delivered
• 20+ public audit contests
• 100k+ lines of code reviewed across EVM, SVM, and HyperEVM
• 100+ Critical / High / Medium severity issues identified
• 3 solo findings in competitive contests
🦅 Ecosystem Recognition
Becoming @CodeHawks Eagles was a major milestone and a strong validation of our work and consistency throughout the year.
🛠️ Tooling & Innovation
• Defender One — our AI-powered auditing assistant
• Forge Defender — a VS Code Solidity testing extension built for developers and auditors
📚 Research & Community
• 400+ security posts published across our X accounts
• 2k+ new followers in 2025
• Launched our LinkedIn presence to share deeper research and updates
None of this would be possible without the people and community around us.
A huge thank you to @DevDacian for inviting us to become @CodeHawks Eagles and for the opportunity to work together. Your trust, support, and collaboration played a big role in shaping our year.
We’re heading into 2026 focused on:
• Deeper audits
• Better tooling
• Stronger research
• Higher security standards
Onwards. 🚀
Fake "JPYdf" tokens have been found.
$JPYdf exists only on Ethereum today.
Buy it only through the Uniswap pool & always verify the contract address.
Uniswap Pool: app.uniswap.org/explore/pool…
Contract: etherscan.io/token/0xb122f4a…
We loved working together with the great team behind @JPYDeFi.
Check their project out - it’s revolutionising!
Meet "the yen, onchain."
Most of onchain finance runs on the dollar.
JPY DeFi gives the yen its own rails.
Mint it against $ETH, @LidoFinance 's $wstETH, and $USDC permissionlessly.
For traders, builders, researchers & funds.

Most audits still stop at the contract.
The bug that actually drains you is usually one layer outside it. A signer that got shown the wrong payload. An upgrade that looked fine until storage moved. A helper contract nobody re-read after the last change.
We keep finding those at @DefendersAudits. Not because the code is ugly. Because the path around it is.
If your review ends when the functions look clean, you’re only half done.

I really miss the audit competitions. First, getting familiar with the new codebase and understanding the idea behind it. Then the deep dive—checking the Discord channels, messaging with the sponsors. And then the escalations. GOD, I really hated them, but I even miss those now🙏
A visual study of our mission - protecting decentralized systems through rigorous smart contract audits, deep security research, and uncompromising standards.
We operate across Web3 to identify vulnerabilities before they become exploits, bringing structure, clarity, and resilience to complex protocols.
Security is not optional. It is the foundation.
🤖 Made with AI
Chain Defenders solved web3 security! We were able to make an AI auditor so good that we overtook the first 4 spots on Immunefi in a day. On top of it all it costs almost nothing to do a full audit. If you are interested in how we did that - read till the end…

This year we’ve been extremely busy working on some very interesting audits.
We’ll be sharing some details soon, so be sure to follow us here.
We are currently conducting an audit for a protocol built on Hyper EVM.
Here are some resources that are essential / required reading! 🚀

After months of deep diving into HyperLiquid and several audits, my team at @CODESPECT put together a blog post explaining HyperEVM <> HyperCore interactions and key security pitfalls when building LST protocols on @HyperliquidX.

We didn’t secure all of Web3 in 2025.
Not even close.
Protocols still got hacked.
Bad code still shipped.
Attackers still won — sometimes.
But at Chain Defenders, we pushed the line forward:
• Found critical bugs before they were exploited
• Stopped rushed launches from becoming post-mortems
• Raised the bar for what a “real audit” should look like
Securing all of Web3 isn’t a 1-year goal.
It’s a long fight.
2026 → same mission.
Less noise. More defense.
