ALT Congress just voted to condemn socialism. Here’s why they’re wrong. Black and white photo of seated Congress members. DSA rose logo.

ALT For over a century, oppressed and exploited people around the world have carried the banner of socialism in the struggle to free themselves from a system that sees them as nothing more than raw material for a profit-making machine. Today, socialists in the U.S. are leading the fight to democratize our economy and our government, to stop the endless wars at home and abroad, and to ensure that the wealth of the nation belongs to those who create it. Photo: Workers marching behind a hand-made banner reading “We won’t fight another rich man’s war!!”

ALT The Senators and members of Congress who oppose those goals have no program of their own to offer other than more suffering to maintain the status quo. Unable to confront the failures of their dead-end politics they fall back on stoking fear of socialism, fueling yet another Red Scare at home, and another Cold War abroad. Americans have seen where that ends: decades of paranoia, censorship, corruption, murder, and war. We won’t fall for it again. Photos of representatives who voted for the resolution.

ALT Poster with a nearly black background and bold red, white, and pale pink text. Top left shows the DE DSA logo and the brush-stroke words “Book Club discusses.” Centered is the title “NEOCOLONIALISM: The Last Stage of Imperialism” by Kwame Nkrumah. Left column lists Chapter 6 Primary Resources & Foreign Interests; Chapter 7 The Oppenheimer Empire; Chapter 8 Foreign Investment in South African Mining; Chapter 9 Anglo-American Corporation Ltd. Right column displays Monday 7/7 @ 6 PM EST. Footer reads “DM us for the Zoom link” with a small video camera icon.

ALT A bold poster on a bright red background features the date and time in small white lowercase serif font reading “friday june 27 6 pm.” Below that, large chunky white serif capital letters spell THEORY SESSION, with the O replaced by a circular emblem containing a stylized rose. Two pink rectangular labels reading “that” and “overcome” overlay the title. Beneath it, the words COMBAT LIBERAL ISM appear in the same oversized white capitals, with pink labels reading “which is” and “negative” layered on top. At the bottom, small white lowercase text reads “open to everyone” on the left and “dm for link” on the right.

ALT Statement from DSA's National Political Committee On Zohran Mamdani's Primary Win, June 27, 2025. In New York City, socialism has won. Time and again, the capitalist class have told working class New Yorkers that providing the basic necessities of affordable housing, efficient transit, and universal child care are not possible, and they should be grateful for the crumbs they do provide. But working class New Yorkers across all different ages, races, and religions have refused to accept that lie. New York City has again proved that a better world is possible. These election results are a rejection of the Democratic Party political establishment and point to a widespread desire for an alternative to the status quo, and the need for the working-class political party DSA is building. 1 of 2

At the top is a bold underlined heading “SOLIDARITY FAIR,” followed by centered event details “June 22nd 4-7 PM,” “Ellendale Firehall,” “Ellendale, DE.” To the right is a red Delaware DSA logo under the label “Hosted by,” with text noting several community groups offering information on community resources. At the bottom is “Contact 302-750-0577 for information” and a small “IWW member created” credit.
