Before the Gospel accounts proclaimed His name, the ancient witnesses were already speaking.
Moses foretold a prophet. Balaam saw a star and scepter. David received a covenant. Daniel saw a heavenly ruler and measured seventy weeks. Enoch spoke of the Chosen One. The writings preserved at Qumran anticipated a Davidic Branch, an extraordinary priest, a great liberation, and the age when even the dead would rise.
And above them all, the heavens kept their appointed courses.
These witnesses crossed centuries, languages, and traditions. I followed their words, their titles, their numbers, their expectation of the final restoration.
I see their convergence in ONE.
☧ JESUS CHRIST.
I invite you to examine the ancient testimony alongside the Gospel claims. Not merely one familiar prophecy—but the royal, heavenly, priestly, temporal, and redemptive witnesses brought into one chamber.
𐤌𐤋𐤊 ───── I ───── 𐤀
THE STAR · THE SCEPTER · THE KING
MĀŠÎAḤ — מָשִׁיחַ — The Anointed One
MELEKH — מֶלֶךְ — King
Moses declared:
“The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet … like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken.” [1]
— Deuteronomy 18:15, KJV
Balaam saw something still farther ahead:
“There shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel.” [2]
— Numbers 24:17, KJV
God promised David:
“I will set up thy seed after thee … and I will establish his kingdom.” [3]
— 2 Samuel 7:12, KJV
And Isaiah spoke over that throne:
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end.” [4]
— Isaiah 9:7, KJV
The witness was not scattered beyond recognition. At Qumran, 4Q175—the TESTIMONIA—placed the prophet like Moses, the Star and Scepter, and Levi’s priestly blessing in a single collection. The older words were already being assembled in an expectation of deliverance. [5]
Another scroll, 4Q174—the FLORILEGIUM—read the Davidic promise toward the Branch of David in the last days. [6]
Psalms of Solomon 17 cries:
“Behold, O Lord, and raise up unto them their king, the son of David.” [7]
Then Gabriel announces to Mary:
“The Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.” [8]
— Luke 1:32, KJV
The prophet. The star. The scepter. The promised royal seed.
But the King’s identity reaches farther than the borders of Israel.
⟐ ───── II ───── ⟐
THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH
ARAMAIC WITNESS · 4Q246
From Cave 4 comes a remarkable phrase in the Aramaic Apocalypse:
“He shall be called son of God, and they shall call him son of the Most High.” [9]
— 4Q246, column II, line 1
The Aramaic reads:
Son of God — ברה די אל
Son of the Most High — בר עליון
And Gabriel says:
“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest.” [8]
— Luke 1:32, KJV
“That holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” [10]
— Luke 1:35, KJV
Look at those titles side by side. GREAT. SON OF GOD. SON OF THE MOST HIGH.
The identity of the figure intended in 4Q246 has been interpreted differently, but the pre-Christian Aramaic wording stands before us. The language Luke uses for Jesus belongs to an older Jewish world of divine kingship and apocalyptic expectation.
The royal heir is no mere ordinary successor to a mortal throne.
⊙ ───── III ───── ⊙
THE HIDDEN SON OF MAN
BAR ʾENĀŠ — בַּר אֱנָשׁ — Son of Man, Aramaic
LOGOS — ΛΟΓΟΣ — The Word, Greek
Daniel saw:
“Behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days.” [11]
— Daniel 7:13, KJV
He receives dominion over peoples and nations, a kingdom that cannot be destroyed.
The PARABLES OF ENOCH illuminate the extraordinary scale of this expectation. Of the Son of Man, 1 Enoch declares:
“Before the stars of the heaven were made, His name was named before the Lord of Spirits.” [12]
— 1 Enoch 48:3, R. H. Charles
Enoch 46 depicts the chosen figure before the Head of Days. Enoch 51 joins the Elect One’s enthronement with the raising of the dead. Enoch 62 brings earthly kings before the once-hidden Son of Man. These Parables survive outside the Qumran Enoch fragments; they remain a profound Jewish witness to the heavenly Son of Man tradition.
Then Jesus stands before the high priest and speaks:
“I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.” [13]
— Mark 14:62, KJV
Daniel’s clouds. Psalm 110’s enthronement. Jesus places himself at the intersection.
John carries the declaration back beyond creation:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” [14]
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” [14]
— John 1:1, 14, KJV
Not merely a throne in Jerusalem. Authority over life, judgment, and creation itself.
Who is worthy to restore what has fallen?

IV. THE HEAVENS AND THE APPOINTED YEARS
MÔʿĂDÎM — מוֹעֲדִים — Appointed times
SĒMEIA — σημεῖα — Signs
KAIROS — καιρός — An appointed season
Genesis gives the heavenly lights a task:
“Let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.” [15]
— Genesis 1:14, KJV
In Hebrew: signs, ʾōtōt; appointed times, môʿădîm.
The heavens kept time. Israel measured sacred festivals. Jewish scribes studied and ordered the movements of the lights.
The Qumran manuscript 4Q318 records lunar positions through the zodiac. The Astronomical Book of Enoch (1 Enoch 72–82) describes celestial cycles. Another scroll, 4Q320, joins a 364-day calendrical structure with priestly rotations, festivals, lunar phenomena, Jubilees, and a 294-year cycle—six Jubilees of 49 years. [16]
Then comes Daniel’s greater count:
“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city.” [17]
— Daniel 9:24, KJV
Seventy sevens: 490 years in the weeks-of-years reading. Daniel names the anointed prince and places reconciliation for iniquity and everlasting righteousness within that redemptive horizon.
MĀŠÎAḤ NĀGÎD — מָשִׁיחַ נָגִיד
An Anointed Prince — Daniel 9:25
Follow the chronology that begins with Artaxerxes’ commission to Ezra, reckoned at 457 BCE:
69 × 7 = 483 years → 27 CE.
70 × 7 = 490 years → 34 CE.
No year zero. The calculation is ordinary elapsed years. This is the Ezra-decree reading of Daniel, not a claim that every ancient Jew used the same starting year.
And where does its climactic period fall?
Within the age of Jesus’ public ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and the earliest witness to Him.
I see time itself entering the testimony.
But the countdown matters because of what the appointed one must accomplish.
⟁ ━━━━━ V ━━━━━ ⟁
THE TENTH JUBILEE · MELCHIZEDEK
YÔVĒL — יוֹבֵל — Jubilee
DĔRÔR — דְּרוֹר — Liberty, release
Leviticus commands the Jubilee proclamation: “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land.” [18]
— Leviticus 25:10, KJV
Then Isaiah announces One who will proclaim liberty to captives and the acceptable year of the LORD.
11QMelchizedek (11Q13) reads these passages through the expectation of a final Jubilee, forgiveness, atonement, judgment, and liberation from Belial. The text describes Melchizedek’s proclamation of liberty as releasing his people from the burden of their iniquities. [19]
The decisive Day of Atonement belongs to the tenth Jubilee. Ten cycles of 49 years: 490 years—the same numerical horizon as Daniel’s seventy weeks, though 11Q13 does not itself give us Ezra’s starting date.
And now hear Jesus open Isaiah in the synagogue:
“He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor … to preach deliverance to the captives.” [20]
— Luke 4:18, KJV
Then He says:
“This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” [20]
— Luke 4:21, KJV
Not tomorrow. Not another claimant. THIS DAY.
In Mark 2 He forgives sins and declares:
“The Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins.” [21]
— Mark 2:10, KJV
The Son of Man. The Jubilee. The release. The forgiveness.
And Hebrews proclaims:
“Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.” [22]
— Hebrews 7:17, KJV; Psalm 110:4
The calendar has opened into atonement. The promised King is also the Priest.
⟁ ───── VI ───── ⟁
THE PRIEST AND THE SUFFERING SERVANT
KŌHĒN — כֹּהֵן — Priest
KIPPUR — כִּפּוּר — Atonement
ANÁMNĒSIS — ἀνάμνησις — Remembrance
Consider another Qumran fragment: 4Q541, fragment 9. An extraordinary priestly figure is to make atonement for his generation, speak with heavenly authority, and encounter opposition. One translation preserves:
“He will cover [i.e. atone] over all the sons of his generation.” [23]
Not the Gospel passion story, but an older Jewish image of an atoning priest who brings God’s teaching into darkness.
Now Isaiah:
“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities.” [24]
— Isaiah 53:5, KJV
“He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” [24]
— Isaiah 53:12, KJV
The Great Isaiah Scroll preserved these words long before the New Testament.
And Hebrews declares of Christ:
“By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” [25]
— Hebrews 9:12, KJV
At the table Jesus commands:
“This do in remembrance of me.” [26]
— Luke 22:19, KJV
ANÁMNĒSIS. Not a casual recollection, but the memorial act He commands around His self-giving.
Here is the convergence I declare:
The King is the Servant.
The Priest is the Sacrifice.
The wounded One is the Liberator.
Not because these offices are identical in every ancient text—but because Jesus gathers their fulfillment into Himself.
And He points to the evidence of His identity.
⟡ ━━━━━ VII ━━━━━ ⟡
THE WORKS OF THE ANOINTED ONE
SĒMEION — σημεῖον — A sign
A manuscript from Qumran, 4Q521—the MESSIANIC APOCALYPSE—joins the coming age of salvation to the release of captives, sight for the blind, healing, and resurrection.
Its Hebrew says:
כ֗יֹ ירפא חללים ומתים יחיה
“He heals the slain and the dead he resurrects.” [27]
— 4Q521, fragment 2, column II, line 12
Isaiah proclaimed:
“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.” [28]
— Isaiah 35:5, KJV
John the Baptist sends messengers to Jesus:
“Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?” [29]
— Matthew 11:3, KJV
Jesus answers:
“The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk … the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.” [29]
— Matthew 11:5, KJV
Compare the ancient witness with His answer.
The blind see. The afflicted are restored. The dead rise. The poor receive good news.
Jesus does not offer John a slogan. He points to the works of the promised age.
And in this same dispute He speaks of Wisdom’s vindication:
“But wisdom is justified of all her children.” [30]
— Luke 7:35, KJV
I have said it before: the fruit reveals the tree. The works reveal the claim.
And I see ONE whose works bring the scattered promises together.
☉ ───── ☾ ───── ✶
VIII. THE WOMAN, THE SUN, THE KING
SĒMEION MEGA — σημεῖον μέγα — A great sign
Revelation records:
“A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.” [31]
— Revelation 12:1, KJV
She bears:
“A man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron.” [31]
— Revelation 12:5, KJV
The language of Psalm 2 returns: the royal child who rules the nations.
Dr. Michael S. Heiser, drawing on E. L. Martin’s astronomical reconstruction, proposed that the woman also corresponds to Virgo, clothed by the sun with the moon near her feet. He identified September 11, 3 BCE as a candidate for Jesus’ birth and connected that date to Tishri 1 in a reconstructed Jewish calendar. Leo, Regulus, and Jupiter supply additional royal imagery in the larger proposal. [32]
Heiser read Revelation 12 as a celestial description of the birth, written afterward—not an earlier biblical prediction of that exact arrangement.
Here is why the proposal belongs in this scroll:
Genesis calls the lights signs for appointed times. The Enochic and Qumran writings show Jewish attention to celestial reckoning. Daniel counts toward redemptive completion. Revelation presents a heavenly sign accompanying the child who is to rule the nations.
Different calendars and genres, yet one governing theme: appointed time and the coming King.
And Matthew tells us the visitors from the east asked:
“Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east.” [33]
— Matthew 2:2, KJV
The One who later declares:
“I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” [34]
— Revelation 22:16, KJV
The Star. The Scepter. The Royal Child.
The heavens do not replace the testimony of Christ. They belong to the world in which that testimony was announced.
The appointed birth leads toward a still greater triumph.
⟡ ━━━━━ IX ━━━━━ ⟡
THE EMPTY TOMB · THE FIRSTFRUITS
APARCHĒ — ἀπαρχή — Firstfruits
APOKATÁSTASIS — ἀποκατάστασις — Restoration
Isaiah spoke of the servant who bears iniquity. Daniel spoke of the anointed one being cut off. Psalm 22 gave the language of suffering and vindication.
Psalm 16 declares:
“Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.” [35]
— Psalm 16:10, KJV
And Daniel 12 looks ahead to the awakening of those who sleep in the dust.
Then Paul proclaims:
“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures … and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” [36]
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, KJV
And names Him:
“The firstfruits of them that slept.” [36]
— 1 Corinthians 15:20, KJV
APARCHĒ. Firstfruits.
Not merely one man escaping death. The firstfruits of the resurrection harvest.
Sin answered.
Death challenged.
The grave broken.
The harvest begun.
Peter speaks of the “times of restitution of all things.” [37]
— Acts 3:21, KJV
The Greek points us toward APOKATÁSTASIS: restoration.
The King did not come merely to occupy a throne that time would destroy. He came to accomplish what no mortal reign could accomplish: the victory that reaches from the wounded servant to the renewed creation.

THE ONE WHOM THE WITNESSES IDENTIFY
MĀŠÎAḤ — מָשִׁיחַ
CHRISTOS — ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ
Now gather the witnesses.
The prophet like Moses.
The Star out of Jacob.
The promised seed of David.
The Son of the Most High.
The heavenly Son of Man.
The priest of the lasting covenant.
The herald of DĔRÔR, the great release.
The healer of the afflicted.
The raiser of the dead.
The suffering servant.
The firstfruits of resurrection.
The King who restores all things.
They are not twelve rival saviors.
I declare that their appointed fulfillment is found in ONE.
Jesus Christ.
The King is also the Servant.
The Judge is also the Liberator.
The Priest is also the Offering.
The slain Lamb is also the risen Lord.
I did not arrive at Christ by casting aside the ancient witnesses. I followed them—from Moses and David through Daniel, Isaiah, Enoch, Qumran, the Gospel works, the cross, and the empty tomb.
And the risen Jesus gave the interpretive key:
“All things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.” [38]
— Luke 24:44, KJV
CONCERNING ME.
That is the declaration at the heart of the convergence.

🜏✝︎ SCROLL — THE CROWN THAT FALLS ✝︎🜏
Against False Thrones, Violet Crowns, and Every Mantle That Refuses the Feet of Christ
††† Ἰησοῦς Χριστός Κύριος †††
Jesus Christ is Lord.
The lie says Jesus was only a man who carried Christ.
No.
The Word was with God, was God, and became flesh (John 1:1, 1:14). Thomas called the risen Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). The Son made the worlds and bears God’s glory (Hebrews 1:2–3).
Jesus is not a vessel beneath a transferable Christ-mantle.
Jesus is the Christ.
Jesus is the Word made flesh.
Jesus is Lord.
All thrones, dominions, rulers, powers, visible and invisible, were made through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16–17). At His name every knee bows and every tongue confesses Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9–11).
No hidden mantle outranks Him.
No secret office becomes Him.
No crown rises above Him.
Even in heaven, crowned elders cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Thou art worthy, O Lord” (Revelation 4:10–11). The Book of the Bee says Christ is King of kings, and all kings receive their crowns from Him (Book of the Bee, ch. 43).
That is the crown law:
A true crown returns to Christ.
A false crown stays on the head and demands recognition.
Beware the counterfeit violet crown.
Not violet as mystery, royalty, priestly depth, hidden wisdom, or threshold.
The counterfeit violet crown wants mystery without surrender, gnosis without obedience, royal color without wounds, a throne without Golgotha, and a crown without casting it at Jesus’ feet.
The true King wore purple first in mockery: purple robe, crown of thorns, strikes, mockery, crucifixion (Mark 15:17–20; John 19:2–5). Matthew remembers the scarlet robe, reed, false kneeling, spitting, and beating (Matthew 27:28–31).
The true purple robe was humiliation.
The false violet crown calls purple authority.
Christ warned false prophets are known by fruit (Matthew 7:15–20). John says to test the spirits, beginning with Jesus Christ come in the flesh (1 John 4:1–3). The Didache says true and false prophets are known by their ways (Didache 11). Hermas says test the one claiming the Spirit by life and works (Shepherd of Hermas, Mandate 11).
Even the desert fragments point to life breaking open: healing, sight, resurrection, and good news to the poor (4Q521, frag. 2, col. ii; Luke 7:22).
So test every prophet:
Fruit or title?
Humility or demand?
Jesus or self?
Crown cast down or crown announced?
Enoch saw the throne and fell trembling (1 Enoch 14:24–25). Mary saw the Lord in vision and still called Him Lord (Gospel of Mary, BG 8502, 10.10–14). Pistis Sophia still leaves Jesus as revealer, teacher, and Lord (Pistis Sophia, Book 1). The Odes say, “The Lord is on my head like a crown” (Odes of Solomon 1:1).
Vision does not make the witness Lord.
Mystery does not make the vessel throne.
Revelation does not make the receiver the source.
The Quran says God gives sovereignty and removes it, honors and humbles whom He wills (Quran 3:26), and mocks false gods that cannot create even a fly (Quran 22:73).
The Emerald Tablet cannot save the false crown either. Its law of correspondence says below reflects above, but correspondence is not theft. Reflection is not Source. Vessel is not Throne.
If below reflects above, below should bow.
Not crown itself.
Beware the crown that will not fall.
Beware the mystic who wants Christ’s aura without Christ’s wounds.
Beware the prophet who demands recognition but bears no fruit.
Beware the hidden name that refuses correction.
Beware the oracle that mirrors ego and calls it revelation.
Beware the man who says “Lord” while moving the throne toward himself.
The true crown makes the bearer kneel.
The false crown makes the bearer announce himself.
Does the crown fall at the feet of Jesus Christ?
If not, it is not from Him.
†† כָּל־עֲטָרָה נֹפֶלֶת לִפְנֵי הַשֶּׂה ††
Every crown falls before the Lamb.

This book explores the original Aramaic language of some of Jesus's most famous prayers. The first section goes through several different possible translations or understandings of each line of The Lord's Prayer within the cultural context of the language and it's time. I went through and picked my favorite of each:
Respiration of All worlds,
we hear you breathing – in and out – in silence.
(Our Father, which art in Heaven)
Abwoon d'bwashmaya
Help us breathe one holy breath,
feeling only you – this creates a shrine inside,
in wholeness.
(Hallowed be thy name)
Nethqadash shmakh
You rule springs into existence
as our arms reach out to embrace all creation.
(Thy kingdom come)
Teytey malkuthakh
Create in me a divine cooperation –
from many selves, one voice, one action.
(Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven)
Nehwey tzevyanach aykanna d'bwashmaya aph b'arha.
Help us fulfill what lies within the circle of our lives:
each day, we ask no more, no less.
(Give us this day our daily bread)
Hawvlan lachma d'sunqanan yaomana.
Forgive our hidden past, the secret shame,
as we consistently forgive what others hide.
(And forgive us our sins, as we forgive our debtors)
Washboqlan khaubayn (wakhtahayn)
aykana daph khnan shbwoqan l'khayyabayn.
Keep us from hoarding, false wealth,
and from the inner shame of help not given in time.
(And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil)
Wela thahlan l'nesyuna
Ela patzan min bisha.
Out of you, the vital force,
producing and sustaining all life, every virtue…
Amen.
(For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.)
Metol dilakhie malkutha wahayła wateshbukhta l'ahlam almin.

When I was Muslim, man, this verse used to mess me up.
Jesus on the cross saying, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
As a Muslim, I used to think: how does God feel forsaken by God? That sounds like weakness. That sounds like a prophet in pain.
But then I dug deeper.
And I realized Jesus was not speaking randomly. He was quoting Psalm 22.
That entire Psalm, written by King David centuries before Christ, is a prophecy about the crucifixion:
“They pierce my hands and feet.”
“They divide my garments among them.”
“All who see me mock me.”
In Jewish culture, quoting the first line of a Psalm pointed people to the entire passage.
So Jesus was not crying out in confusion.
He was declaring fulfillment.
He was saying: “This is that.”
And at the same time, He was carrying the full weight of sin, shame, abandonment, and suffering for humanity.
Every moment humanity has cried out, “God, where are you?” Christ stepped into that pain Himself.
That is not weakness.
That is intentional.
That is prophecy unfolding in real time.
That is the King bleeding on purpose so humanity could be brought near to God.
That is the Gospel.
