In this whole land debate there are greedy corrupt civil servants with suitcases full of land titles in places like Adjumani, Apaa, Karamoja, Luweero, Hoima, Gulu. They have never even stepped there. Life style audit seems more like a competition for who can die wealthiest.
Have consistently argued let Public Service Commission get this SACCO business out of Government, Judiciary, Parliament, Military, Police. Moment Tax payers are employing business people, wheeler dealers, That is end of effective service delivery/integrity.
Our education system makes us believe it is only those who went to Makerere who made it in life let’s change that mind set try looking for a good painter or plumber in this Uganda. How many sinks, bathrooms, tiles have actually been fixed right even in top hotels ?
A certificate in hair dressing, cooking should equally carry weight plus work experience just as someone with technical drawing, plumbing, brick laying much better than O’A levels at least they have a skill.
