How many American defense tech investors or founders do you think understand scale nonlinearities and what this means?

lololol, you think explanations work? it's all about appearances, the explanations come after so people can intellectualize what they already decided ideas? or execution?

Every woke tweet, augmented by CCP shadow money, seeks to legitimize Russia's war; what greater way could there to defeat the Russians, than to defeat this domestic terrorism?

Isolationism is as much a factor in people and in nations as it is within the architectures of weapons systems, and the machines that are built inevitably reflect the philosophies of the people who build them -- philosophy always becomes embodied, so what is needed to win a war?

People in Europe are telling me it's close to reaching the breaking point. Do you think such things just simply reverse? Are the underlying factors decreasing? How much longer will American cowardice continue expounding upon the fantasy of isolationism and its moral virtues?
Europe is angry. Rents are soaring. Energy prices are rising, fueling pain at the pump and inflation. Growth is stagnating. And borrowing costs are climbing in France, Italy, Spain and Greece. vist.ly/5pmj3

🤡🤡🤡 what a fucking retard (would engage him in polite conversation and explain it were it not for his repeated disinterest in engaging interlocutors and simply using twitter to broadcast) intellectual risk of software is isolationism another complexity denialist; tragic
I've been blown away by the energy, optimism, and hard work that has created the China I've seen on this trip. It had been seven years since I was last here, and it might as well have been forty. Invigorating to see what's possible. The West has no excuse for its managed decline.

Breaking, A16Z uses AI to achieve major discovery/superinnovation. Turns out the financial architecture that sort of appeared from nowhere (was it the rainstorm last Thursday?) may have strategic implications to those wielding it. This changes everything. Why no one considered??
America’s capital markets are an underrated strategic weapon. Anduril CEO Brian Schimpf on turning that edge into a tool for national priorities: "The US capital market structure is, it's not like it's 10% better than anyone else, it's like several thousand times better than anyone else. Like it is just wildly better." "If you're leaning into that and saying, 'Hey, we actually have great capital allocators that know how to underwrite companies and lean in on these things.' Great, let's just use the capital stack in a way that is aligned with national priorities around certain industries, certain capabilities, things like that." "Where else could you finance $200 billion of data center investments with like basically no real revenue to show for it? Like it's crazy." @SchimpfBrian @eriktorenberg

Hi, my name is Vladimir Putin, writing on behalf of myself and my buddies in China, Iran, and North Korea. We see there is some confusion about our subversion strategy. When we looked at Europe in the 2000s, we saw three easy levers to advance our interests. First, make them shut down nuclear and depend on Russian gas. The left already wanted to “save the planet,” so we framed it as green policies. Barely cost us anything. Second, break their national unity and sense of self. Woke ideology and open borders were hard sells, but the left wanted to be the good guys. So we pushed parties and NGOs calling gender ideology and mass immigration virtuous. Chapeau to the radicals for this win. Third, quarantine anyone who noticed. The left was already keen to believe anyone outside their story was a villain. We merely planted evidence that the resistance were our puppets. A few bot farms and election ads did the trick. Cheap and easy. In short: we let the left think they were the heroes, and they pulled the levers for us. It worked beyond our wettest dreams. We didn’t have to push the reaction. We simply pushed the policies and frames that created it. This divided them. This made them weak. But credit where credit is due: we couldn't have done it without the corruptible, the blind, and the EU. Thank you for your attention. Enjoy your green genderless multicultural utopia 🙌

I tried to assure Anthropic that it was purely academic, that I did NOT condone impeding Iranian or Russian efforts to slaughter women and children, and it still didn't let me run some quickmaffs on interceptors?? You say nuke SF, but isn't that just giving them what they want?

How could ITAR ever reform to allow deep collaboration with our progenitors, given just how insecure the American (reveals he) feels?

There are elements of the Frankensteinian monstrosity of the half-communism half-capitalism pseudo-competitive egalitarian-slop that is modern America, which manages to be even more disastrous in certain regards than those Soviet horrors
Modern city planning exists to answer the question: “what if we took Soviet style central planning and stripped it out of all its technical capabilities”

"Lots of people have kids who have no business doing so." Have you tried inspiring men to murder the men you think should not be reproducing?
One of the most surefire ways to prevent your child from developing a healthy, functioning, cohesive identity/self-concept is to convince them at a young age (we’re talking 5 years old) that they are any of these things: “the problem” “evil” “narcissistic” “need help” “have anger issues” “are vindictive” “deliberately meant to hurt them on purpose” and so on. It’s worth acknowledging that this kind of behavior directed toward a child, and coming from a parent/authority figure, is certifiably insane. There is no reason on earth why an adult should/would put such ideas into a vulnerable, malleable child’s head. To preemptively frame a child who hasn’t even really begun the process of self-discovery, hasn’t learned basic tools, is only several years old, doesn’t yet have the language to describe what’s going on with them, etc - it’s nothing short of evil. Lots of people have kids who have no business doing so. We’re talking light years behind in the EQ department, no self awareness, project their internal world onto innocent children, can’t contain their own outbursts and offload mental health issues onto their children. This stuff causes immeasurable damage to a child. A child should be surrounded by love, support, understanding, compassion, have a safe space to rely on, someone who can guide them through their own issues/emotions, and an adult who knows how to separate their own shitty mess from literal children. What are we even doing at this point

Incredible how shitcoin bros will inhabit bitcoin culture phrases with a straight face all while doing a death-denial biz play (bio) amidst ever greater dysgenicity, and larping as "hypersonics" testing, but with where things are... can I really deny they match well the mileu?

We should probably just murder all the communist losers with AI weapons. If you're a moralist, how are you any better than them? -- they inhabit realpolitik reality that if they murder you, you dead. How can you claim to not be communist while granting them equal "right" to life?

He is absolutely right -- the moralist Christian billionaire is incredibly weak, probably would go to prison if he murders even a single commie! Total fairy tale that such a thing can persist without exercising necessary evil against the parasitic masses.

BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force is accelerating preparations for potential warfare around the Moon, seeking military capabilities that could be operational by 2029. According to Breaking Defense, Maj. Gen. Stephen Purdy says the Pentagon is preparing two industry requests for information to acquire: 1. Spacecraft and sensors capable of monitoring activity between Earth and the Moon. 2. Navigation and timing systems to support operations far beyond traditional Earth orbit. 3. AI software allowing spacecraft to navigate, detect failures and operate autonomously without constant instructions from Earth. The Space Force wants existing or near-ready commercial technology rather than years of additional research and development. Purdy cited China's growing presence in cislunar space as a key driver of the urgency. The Pentagon is also coordinating with NASA on infrastructure that could support both civilian lunar exploration and military operations. Initial capabilities are targeted for deployment by September 2029. No contracts or operational weapons deployments have been announced.
