It’s by-election season, with Kiama this weekend, and Secret Harbour on the 29th! We’ve got both on the map to help you find a rare by-sausage…if it exists. If you’re looking to switch between the two elections, just hit the ‘2’ button in the top right.

And so the 2025 Federal Election democracy sausage coverage comes to a close! Various records smashed, many sausages eaten but none of it possible without contributions from a range of people. Pictured is our tired but happy democracy sausage team.
But lastly, everyone who volunteered to run sizzles, cake stalls and helped crowd ‘sauce’ our data, and to the many people who bought sausages, cakes or other election goods to support their local community.
With polls coming to a close in the east, most #DemocracySausage stalls will have wrapped up for the day, so it’s time to do our Democracy Sausage count before the counting of votes begins!
