Since my departure from the televised grand spectacle, I have been thoroughly engulfed in an absolute maelstrom of relentless activity. Our peregrinations have ferried us across a multitude of exotic, ultramontane realms, wherein we experienced the profound jubilation of reconvening with long-estranged compatriots. Concurrently, I have surrendered my intellect to the voracious consumption of dense, hermetic tomes, immersing myself in the labyrinthine intricacies of highly recondite and intellectually stimulating subject matters. In a plurality of dimensions, my current state of existential industriousness vastly eclipses any prior epoch of my life. It’s been really cool.

A stunning sight last night as Earth’s shadow created a deep partial eclipse. This is a stack of around 30 photos taken in rapid succession, allowing me to improve the clarity and color of the scene. I’ll have this available in print for a few days here: cosmicbackground.io/pages/ea…

This is how I remember Dolly, a gigantic talent possessed by an artist who was unreachable. Her songs were the greatest, and she was the greatest; no matter what, she will live on. Whenever she entered a room, she sparkled, and I believe she always will.

Oh goodness, what can I say about Shelley Fabares. Dear sweet Shelley. I learned just now of her passing on Saturday. While I'm saddened by the news, I am filled with happy memories of filming "Ride the Wild Surf" with her, Susan Hart and all the boys! Shelley truly was a sweet, good girl. In the acting world you never know what type of people your fellow castmates may be when you start a project. It's always a treat when you find yourself among good, happy people. Us girls all shared a little bungalow on Oahu together and it was more fun than work! The whole group of us were having a ball! My thoughts and condolences to Shelley's husband Mike Farrell and their loved ones. Shelley was a darling woman, a lovely actress and a wonderful singer. -Barbara Eden
