"I am not built for this." - Sitting in Silicon Valley in 2023, surrounded by SaaS founders, that thought brought Amardeep Singh back to defence. It brought him back to the borders, forests, and disaster zones where, years earlier, he'd first understood what technology is really for.
That return became Armory. He loves to call it his "homecoming" :P

ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces):
I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept):
Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

Not gonna happen when you’re not actively licking each other’s butt in the name of “networking” because recruiters and hiring managers have brainpower of brainrotten tiktok idiots

The world's busiest airport. A megahub for global connecting flights. Over 100,000 passengers stranded. Brought to its knees by a bunch of drones.
The menace is only getting worse.

Current war economics are disproportionate and conventional.
The math of these modern conflicts barely adds up. Crores to defend. Thousands to just dismantle it.
We, the folks at Armory, are not okay with that.
If you want comfort, this isn’t it.
If you want impact and work with a high agency and low tolerance for mediocrity, come build where it actually matters.
Where we create products like SURGE that challenge standards of defence systems, and raise them.

A bunch of defence enthusiasts, manually detecting a drone before SURGE gets a chance to.

Today marks 2 years of Armory!
Really intense phase but I haven’t felt more alive in a decade. Hard problems. High stakes. Random curveballs. And a race against time.
My first stint with defence was incomplete & I am back to see it through this time.
This is my homecoming!
