Daily or well, technically nightly reminder to @AlboMP you want to control my feed, then get these AI induced gambling slop ads off of my timeline. Considering gov has such a hard on for removing or limiting it, then make good on it.

Hot take or common sense? Anyway, as someone who does gig work within and around content moderation, I do find it annoying when the anti AI users come to an AI cantered platform, just to report content at the most random ass reason. Can you just, not? I get you hate AI, but use your head, thanks. Now on the other side, I see people report content because they personally do not like, be it fetish tropes, certain depictions of scenario etc etc. Again, content vs context makes our job already annoying enough without mass reports being dumb as bricks. Same as any content media out there, mass reporting something you find distasteful regardless of knowing context helps no one, all it does is waste time or ruin work of someone or worse yet, costs websites time and resource to do a full takedown, investigation and review.

Regular against the narrative common sense and logic statements. - Anyone coming here (Australia) on student visa but suddenly working should be deported without question. - For social cohesion to work, those adapting to Australian culture need to also honour and protect the flag they claim to struggled to get onto land of. - Religion should not be an auto protection card, nor race. Black on white, brown on black, white on white, crime is crime. - Respecting the past includes the colonial aspects of what this country formed from. Disagreements are fine, but removing of, damaging or simply culture appropriating areas is not. - Transgender is not a free pass to invade spaces designed for biological genders. Males claiming as women should NEVER be allowed or welcomed in women spaces. Same way I would rather a woman not invade men's shed etc, point of fact is, safe spaces need remain safe. - Government is not your friend, critical thinking is, research your local MP, understand their past voting and see just how much value they put your electorate or country first. That is all for now, I expect disagreements or name calling, but such is the way of things.

Excuse me @elonmusk for the ping, but have a hypothetical and soon to be real scenario. If a gov institute decided to flood platform with fake/bot puppet accounts, does that not breach the TOS of the platform itself even if they presume it betterment of said platform response?

Now that I can type longer posts haha, let me explain. Our gov wants to be able to use AI as puppet accounts, however, would that be breaching X's own platform policy regarding how bot accounts/networks breach it, or would the gov have carte blanche if they can prove it for the betterment of platform? (Even if said platform has own internal policy/moderation standards).

Going to put the gamer hat on since am burnt out (least for moment on how in the drain country is). @ArrowheadGS As a diver from first galactic war, what I would like to see, eventually are the following: - Milestones within MO campaigns, even if not 100%, a 99.9% should not be classified a failure. - Deeper customization, weapons need more love, light pen to med pen (with balance debuffs to compensate), suppressors on larger than light pen (again, penalties again if need be). - Helmets finally doing something, beyond protecting head getting blown off first round. Flashlights would be handy, or maybe increased mini map pulse or slight boost to environmental shenanigans aka ion storm. - Fixes to the cursed stratagem rolling, I have lot count how many times, even on perfect flat, somehow the damn ball has mind of its own and bounces or glitches off outside of where it was needed. - More seaf options: You let us hug em, instruct to follow etc etc, yet, would like to see them use mounted emplacements, a rocket launcher or even open the damn two button door rather than standing there like I am an idiot (solo dive). - Also, would really like to know why the detonator on C4 counts as a special weapon when you could, just have it as part of the backpack, was this to balance out from carrying another special weapon?

People talk about heroes. Mine sat in a captain's chair and showed that the best leaders don't solve every problem with anger, ego or force. They listen, think, and stand by their principles.

Sir Patrick Stewart gave us that in Jean-Luc Picard. At a time when every problem seems to be met with outrage and division, that lesson feels more important than ever. Rest easy, Captain. 🖖

Not really fond of the liberal parties, but hey, I will commend on pointing out some of the same points I had in my submission to the bill, well done. Hope it really gets torn apart and reviewed cause undefined power and broad sweeping aspects is not what I would call legal.
Today, the government's so-called Digital Duty of Care bill passed the House of Representatives. This is the latest attempt by Labor to control what Australians see and hear online. This censorship law: ❌ incentivises the removal of lawful speech ❌ grants vague and sweeping powers to the minister and eSafety Commissioner ❌ introduces new regulatory burdens on small business ❌ includes covert surveillance powers by allowing fake ‘sock puppet’ accounts to track users online ❌ puts Australians’ online safety at risk by abolishing the mandatory codes and standards which proactively regulate unlawful and age-restricted material The government's eleventh hour amendments to its own bill shows what a dog's breakfast this is. We expect other serious defects with the bill will emerge in the upcoming Senate inquiry. It’s part of a pattern of failure in this portfolio. Labor had to bring in a bill to fix its under 16s social media ban just six months after the law took effect, and it has botched the rollout of the ban with 70 per cent of kids still on social media platforms, according to eSafety’s own research. Labor can’t get online safety right. Australian families deserve better than policy made on the run.

I remember a time, when doing assignments or even speech for school captain, had to have answers or very least, good enough charisma to least get through it without failing, or elected if people were entertained.

Now, we pay taxes for grown ass adults, to then spend that tax on consultants who pocket upwards to 500k to simply respond with "I dont recall" "no comment" "will table it" You work for the people and the people, demand answers from a so called transparent government.

Random useless thought: Gov mentions toning down on gambling ads or some such, yet my timeline seems to increase in them, and worse still AI slop variations, make it make sense.

The numbers are right — 18 to 42 years is the Department's own estimate. But "go-slow on processing" is the wrong diagnosis. The government is processing at the speed of the cap.
No one should have to choose between the life they’ve built here in Australia and the parents they left behind. The Greens are fighting for a system that lets families have both. Because of a go-slow on processing by Govt a parent visa today means waiting 18 to up to 42 years.

So, that in mind, how do we overcome this with the increased state of migration whilst also ensuring that actual responsible/contributing people apply whilst giving everyone a fair chance? Considering it is all good to allow families, but costs dont work.
