Bron gonna go on a podcast 7 years from now and say this is the moment he knew the game left him lol
Check the podcast that's about to drop for @GiUpdates for more details but a simple way of thinking about it is think Loki season 2 with the golden timeline being your main save and then during the game there's moments where you might end up on an alternative timeline and the game would pull one of your other saves that you might have had and use it for that timeline while you're inside of it. So all the choices you made would be changed while you were inside that timeline. So if you had a BroShepherd as your main timeline and he killed the krogans you could end up on an alternative timeline where your FemShepard didn't kill the krogan and you would actually see them alive and walking around.

Can someone explain what it means to "plug your saves together to create parallel universes”? I don't even understand what is trying to be conveyed here.

China’s first AI-generated theatrical feature has flopped, earning just $181,000 in its first weekend.
By contrast, the scrappy ‘Niu Lai’ turned its crude animation into a viral attraction, grossing nearly $10 million a couple of months ago.

I love the idea of all the si-fi franchises coming together to save mass effect.
Hell yeah dude.

BG3 had a massive team and a budget over 100 million (probablg a lot more). BG3 was not rebooted twice and thanks to a successful early access Larian was able to take their time with it. Almost 7 years of development.
The corporate greed narrative regarding BioWare's closure doesn't make sense of you look at the bigger picture.
You'll notice Respawn hasn't been touched, and many other EA devs as well. They are making a profit.
BioWare has been running at a loss for over a decade, and to be upfront, being outdone in their own turf by games like BG3 and E33. Games with smaller teams and budgets.
Reality is BioWare is not the same company that everyone fell in love with. After Inquisition, their vibe changed.

“why are you so upset about mass effect, it’s just a game” for starters it’s a beloved series that got cancelled midway through their next game development, 400 people lost their jobs in a dead market, and oh right corpos destroying art is one of the calling cards of fascism
