AI has changed world so rapidly that the things we used to consider AI handwriting now seem to be embedded in people's minds, so much so that many people, while talking, sound like AI speaking
I think it's going to be incredibly hard to even do AI detection for text, and the only thing that might actually be worth doing is human verification
There is gonna be the 2 most important thing where there is a lot of money to be made
Human verification - Its being optimistic about AI and thinking that we will be at a time where all the content on the internet will be generated by AI and the way humans trust each other on intelligence, creativity and all sorts of other thing is the other human provides a proof. ( ZK, Math ) ( Determinstic provenance )
AI detection - As good as it looks i am very bearish on this as ai getting good at predicting the right next token/character its gonna be incredibly hard to figure out whats ai genearted and whats not so detection itself will be very hard but i am staying optimistic. ( AI, Math ) ( Probabilistic function )
I think there’s another way to solve the zCam problem
Right now zCam is trusting the sensors, but a rooted or jailbroken device could potentially spoof sensor data and trick the enclave into signing a claim about something that never actually happened

the best thing you can do if you're not in ai is to be anti ai.
- human first
- verify everything
- deterministic over probabilistic
- privacy over convenience
- open source
- quality over quantity

People who are really serious about (wet) software - culture -, should make their own social network.
@balajis just acquired @farcaster_xyz and set an explicit social contract. Only techno-optimists allowed.
A few didn't consent and exited to other clients, without losing their social graph and content.
That's how it should be. Trying to force two tribes with fundamentally different values to share the same space is crazy.
Last year I thought Threads was an existential risk to X.
When Meta puts its full weight behind something -- by injecting the app into Instagram, it’s DEFCON 5:
You have to squeeze out every last drop of growth from all available surfaces to save the app.
However, I started to realize that the opposite was happening:
It was strengthening X.
If you look at any announcement by Zuck, you will see the most rude & toxic comments on the internet.
But when he makes those same announcements on X, people are thrilled about how he’s pushing humanity forward. X is a place where people are excited about the future, so it’s no surprise he and his top lieutenants are using it more than their own app.
Threads — and Bluesky — have effectively quarantined some of the worst people on the internet.
And so I had an epiphany: those apps are X’s anti-abuse systems.
I never like dunking on any person, company, or idea because deep down, I know how much it takes just to try

The world needs decentralized social now more than ever
People see the harm social media causes. Fewer connect it to walled gardens and algorithms designed to keep us addicted
Really excited for this next chapter of Farcaster. See you there

Network state is the new owner of @farcaster_xyz and this is a match I feel super excited about.
I could feel the freshness from the first moment you open the app and sign up for the new techno - optimistic manifesto which totally resonates - a new type of social network that let the client (app) set their rules abd lets members opt in to obeyby them or simple move on to another client.
Excited to see @balajis leading another strategic move in fullfilling the network state vision.
Bullish
This is awesome. I'll prob start using Farcaster more, again.
Replying to @GSkrovina
For anyone curious, here's the full statement and prompt to vote which prompted existing Farcaster users to "vote to stay" in order to preserve their account on the client with write access. People who "vote to leave" or abstain, only have read access on the Farcaster app.

I am the Network State now! 💜🏴
@ns is building a "moderated community for techno-optimists that want to build startup societies in the physical world". This reminds me of some of the early @farcaster_xyz experiments we did in person at @JoinEdgeCity in Chiang Mai, Thailand all living and working in the same community together.
Decentralized democracy
> you vote with your crypto wallet, your digital ballot, and your virtual feet — by joining a client, by leaving a client, or by building your own... You consent to joining a client community, and the client community consents to accepting you as a member.
> ...proof-of-human for every account, while permitting pseudonymous accounts to maintain good reputations via zero-knowledge proofs of their humanity.
Congrats to everyone building and building on Farcaster the last years and Network State for their recent funding at $2b valuation!

@farcaster_xyz JUST got acquired by @ns (Network School ), if u dont know Network School is funded by former coinbase CTO @balajis.
sitting at $2b valuation which was announced on october 9th, 2026.
> they just made all farcaster users to vote, u either accept the new rules ,reject and leave, or be on read only mode.
if u vote to stay :
- u sign an onchain a tx with ur wallet.
- they'll use AI moderation, to keep shit running, no hate speech and spam.
- Helpful posts, original ideas, useful tutorials, and civil discussions are encouraged.
- u receive an NFT recording ur vote.
if u vote to leave :
- ur account becomes read only in this app.
- ur posts, followers, wallet, funds, and keys aren't deleted.
- u can use another Farcaster client or build your own.
> they want online communities with their own rules that people voluntarily agree to, expanding into real world meetups, startup communities, and even network states. decentralized democracy. can u see the VISION?
THE Singapore of Social Network.
Claude Opus 5.5 /motion+ posts.design, and you’re all set for your launch video.
Thanks, @baseddesigner
Does this make @izebel_eth, @blurr, and @UngusTrade some of the fastest millionaires ever?
They’re already worth a couple of million dollars.
