Against the current planned EU budget from 2028 onwards, the UK as a member would be paying over £35 Billion a year.
It would require in the region of £100 Billion in GDP growth, to cover that amount.
I don't see Labour doing anything to increase UK GDP by £100 Billion by 2028.

Whether you are happy or not that the Prime Minister is opening up the Brexit debate again, there are two things we know for certain.
1. He lied about not opening up the Brexit debate again.
2. He wouldn't be the PM right now, if he hadn't lied about it.

This is the reality.
This is the actual data on UK trade post-Brexit.
David is not some random guy on X (like me). David is the Professor of Industrial Economics at Nottingham University.
This is the data. The actual data. Not some garbage forecast about a fictional earth.

The reality is UK total (goods & services) exports to EU in 2025 were:
· ⬆️ 18.9% on 2015 (pre-referendum)
· ⬆️ 3.8% on 2019 (before leaving EU)
· ⬆️3.2% on last year.
All in real terms (source: ONS trade statistics)

Miatta Fahnbulleh, the equally loony replacement Energy Secretary to Ed "Potty" Miliband said this week she was "minded" to reject the go ahead for Rosebank.
Now, reports suggest Snake Oil "Pandy" Burnham and John "Two Faced" Healey are to give the go ahead in the budget.
Let's hope that, if true, both Miliband and Fahnbulleh throw their toys out of their prams and storm out.

Andy Burnham’s strategy is to appear on Googlebox to appear more "relatable" whilst sticking two fingers up to everyone who voted for Brexit.
He’s even more dishonest and fake than Keir Starmer.

Too many left-wing and mainstream “feminists” were silent on the rape of Jewish women on October 7th
Sexual violence was used as a weapon of war by Palestinian terrorists and because the women were Jewish, the usual groups like @UN_Women were silent.

The poisoning of the flock at Or Nachman Farm, near the Arab village of al-Mughayyir in the Binyamin Region, was reported during the day. This is the 17th livestock poisoning incident in Judea and Samaria since the beginning of the year.
Most of this year’s flock poisonings originated from al-Mughayyir, with sheep and goats from nearby farms falling victim.

As I said on @bbcsml we should not be paying a penny in slavery reparations to anyone.
Yes slavery was wrong, but it was practiced by societies the world over (and indeed continued to be practiced by Africans and others long after Britain abolished it).
Given the huge amounts of blood and treasure we spent in abolishing the slave trade around the world, we have also amply paid our debt

A reminder of what Burnham said in May:
"I am not proposing that the UK considers rejoining the EU, I respect the decision that was made at the referendum."
Now he wants an "honest" conversation about the EU after he lied? You can’t trust a word he says.
The cheap green lie
You are told that solar and wind are cheap
But you need near-100% backup when no sun or wind, paying for two systems
Data for 2025 shows that
cramming in more solar and wind makes electricity overall more and more costly

Labour admits thousands use human rights laws to remain in Britain but refuses to leave ECHR.
Home Office figures reveal 71 per cent of sampled Article 8 grants involved illegal entrants or overstayers, while new Government estimates put the potential lifetime taxpayer cost of one year’s first-time applicants at £4.9 billion.
The Home Office acknowledges that Article 8 claims are enabling people who would not otherwise qualify under immigration rules to enter or remain in the country
The Home Office's own analysis provides the striking figure that from a representative sample of first-time in-country family and private life grants in 2022 found that 71 per cent were made to applicants who had entered illegally or overstayed their visas.
The lifetime cost to Britain is absolutely staggering for these migrants, that is before the devastating cost of those the Home Office accepts. Yet Labour refuse to countenance any measure to stop these abuses. Get Labour OUT.

Britain just crossed £3 TRILLION in national debt.
Yet ahead of the Budget, Andy Burnham's answer is to hand English mayors another £1.5 BILLION borrowing facility.
We are already spending £100bn+ a year just on debt interest, money that should be funding schools, hospitals, or tax cuts for squeezed families.
Yes, sensible investment matters, and £1.5bn isn't the whole debt pile. But borrowing isn't free money, it's a habit Whitehall refuses to break.
How about trying something radical?
Cut waste, get value for what we already spend, and live within our means.

In 2014, there were 888,246 ceramic poppies in total arranged around the Tower of London to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of WW1.
Each individual poppy represented a British or Commonwealth service person killed during WW1.

Gas prices are currently through the roof at perhaps £70-80/MWh (it's cheaper in summer).
Our utterly craven government are offering green hydrogen manufacturers £240/MWh, fixed price, year round, so that power stations can burn hydrogen instead of gas.
They hate you. They really hate you.
