Over the weekend we hosted a #DiAthlete Day 🏀💙 with Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS paediatric diabetes team in Newquay. Always uplifting to get parents & carers connecting on their experiences, and to make game based learning activities for children & young people with #t1d.
2nd Nov #T1DFestival returns - this time at Mercedes Benz World, Weybridge.
We’re partnering with Movimento Divabetica from Brazil to host a #type1diabetes fashion show, in addition to a #T1D Expo, Keynote talks & fundraising prize draw.

The Climbing session 🧗♀️ = adrenaline, stress or emotions and our diabetes.
We hosted 50 wonderful adults at our annual #CampPhoenix 🔥 for adults living with #Type1diabetes in the UK 🇬🇧
The camp is focused on peer empowerment & psychological wellbeing across daily tasks of diabetes management.
On personal side with #diathlete unleashed my inner dia beast 2 months ago, running marathons & cycling over 4 days from Kent to Cotswolds. We raised £1500, thanks to all. It had been 6 years since last so physically active.
Still got it. Don’t stop believing in yourself.
