✅ A new digital business hub will be created in Callander through £790,000 of funding from the Stirling and Clackmannanshire City Region Deal.
The facility will be located in the town centre in the same building as the Stirling Council-owned #Callander Library. It will occupy underutilised areas on both floors and provide new office, hot-desking, training and events space for businesses in the town and the surrounding areas.
The layout and facilities are based on extensive consultation with the local community and other key stakeholders and aims to ensure businesses have flexible access to a high-quality, collaborative and welcoming environment that allows them to network, grow and attract investment.
The project is being funded by the Scottish Government through the Stirling and Clackmannanshire City Region Deal, a £214 million partnership between both Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils, the University of Stirling and the UK and Scottish Governments.
Following approval of the Business Justification Case for the project by the City Region Deal Joint Committee, construction is expected to start in the summer of 2026 (subject to approval of planning consents) with a planned opening in April 2027.
