Absolutely thrilled with Esa's performance at this year's worlds. He's been a stalwart partner to his friends and, while both of us were definitely struggling on team for this tournament, he stuck to his strengths and delivered an insane run. Sorry if you pair him in masters! :P

I really have liked the atlanta venue every time I've been there (once for Pokemon, twice for Magic); right on the Marta line from the airport, lots of space, and in a decent area to visit of a diverse and interesting city. toronto also rocks. big w

will also note; I understand that 1) it doesn't really matter what I say and 2) a lot of people are completely against LLMs on principle. Fine by me, I am too for most (especially cultural) stuff! I'm explicitly not placing a moral value on LLM use here.

-- rather than write code to make things that only exist in a designer's head. I'm sure it's better than I think, will keep getting better, etc., but LLMs are not top VGC players. Also, LLMs are not only an uninteresting tool for making art, using them that way disconnects us.

Not that my perspective is important, but I increasingly feel like Martha Wells' depiction of computer intelligence in the Murderbot series is likely a pretty realistic one. REALLY REALLY FAST cybersecurity, math, etc, but all the compute in the world != magic oracle powers.
