News flash folks, we are well a ways off from effective Quantum computing at scale. By the time it becomes accessible Bitcoin would already have been upgraded, and yes it will upgrade because people will save their own bags and the protocol they obsess over. There are already NIST PQC standards, and more will be created as time goes on. IBM/Google/Microsoft will not create a true large scale general purpose quantum computer without there being effective countermeasures. This whole thing is a nothing burger and people are using it to shill their bags, a time old tradition of the crypto community.
