Khalil Mack explains what the Bears’ “Double Doink” taught him about how rare championship caliber teams really are “That was the vibe. That was the thought process. When you’re in that phase of things, you’re kind of like, man, it happened. We just got to move on from it and hopefully we’re able to come back the next year and do something special.” “But looking back on it, you realize how important those moments are.” “You definitely shouldn’t take those moments, those teams that you got — that defense we had was very special.” “Knowing Vic Fangio, defensive guru, genius in his own right, and seeing what he’s doing in Philly now and the pieces he’s got over there, I know he’s having fun.” “Just having everybody all at once, all at the same time, playing at the level we were playing at, and having those creative minds behind us — it was a special time.”
