I have written to the First Minister urging the Scottish Government to hear from all those affected by the Supreme Court ruling when planning how to implement it.

We are studying today's judgement by the UK Supreme Court. Nothing they rule will change our solidarity with the trans+ community and with everyone who seeks to live their lives under control of their own bodies, and free from poverty, ignorance or conformity. (1/3)

Well I would say that support for people with disabilities is definitely one of the big issues at the moment- I do care about getting the details right and our party cares about keeping #PIP

If you want to help get disabled people in to work, the bare minimum would be to allow us to use our bus passes prior to 9:30 so we can use it for work. I have to take two buses instead of a thirty min walk I could have done prior to my spine injury that adds up.

Had an amazing time in Harrogate - spent most of it with my @DisabilityLD chair hat on. We passed a successful amendment to the SEND motion, had some wonderful chats with other AOs and MPs and are really looking forward to the work ahead now!

🚨 NEW: Ed Davey asks Keir Starmer to assure people that he won't cut benefits for the disabled "who simply cannot work" Starmer refuses to answer the question directly, but says "we will of course support those who need support" #PMQs

Cutting Winter Fuel Payments will disproportionately harm disabled people. I challenged the Equalities Minister to disclose what assessments, if any, have been made.

Mostly recovered from a very busy conference - was rushing around mostly promoting @DisabilityLD and @YoungLiberalsUK I got to speak on motions close to my heart, ensure it was made clear the @LibDems stand for trans rights, and hear from so many amazing people. Until March!

Today I spoke to BBC London about our calls for the Mayor to appoint a Disability Equality Champion for London. The proposals drafted with the help of @InclusionLondon had cross-party support on the Assembly & we hope the Mayor will take it forward. 👇🏾 disabilitylibdems.org.uk/new…

Had a wonderful final conference as a @YouLiberalsUK exec member! I’m so proud of how the organisation has changed under me - including awarding the wonderful @livdunn01 with our “unsung hero” award and reawarding “best speech” to @bex_foulsham with her chosen name!

As another pride month draws to a close and the election days away, we thought we'd conduct a overview of the party positions on LGBTQ+ equality issues. Remember, pride is a protest whether it's pride month or not and we will never stop fighting and protesting for LGBTQ+ rights.

Looking to write some profiles of disabled people standing at the general election. I've approached seven, with three yeses so far. Keen to hear from anyone who would like to take part through a series of written questions (same for every candidate). Any ideas please let me know

Thanks to everyone in Hinckley and Bosworth who has displayed a #libdems poster or who has helped put them up. Great to see so many displayed across the local area showing there’s real support for the @libdems campaign to beat the Tories in Hinckley & Bosworth on July 4th

As a disabled candidate for the @LibDems in the GE, I’m hoping to be able to remind people that disabled people deserve a voice. Less than 1% of MPs had publicly disclosed any type of disability in 19-24, while we make up 20% of the population. Disabled voices have value

Far too often, mental health is still not treated with the respect or urgency that physical health is. We have a plan to tackle the mental health crisis, with early intervention, community support, and children and young people at its core. ⬇️
