👉Le parole del #Papa durante la catechesi dell'udienza generale: "Fratelli e sorelle, la Costituzione Gaudium et spes ci raccomanda di non vivere la fede in uno spirito di contrapposizione o di ostilità nei confronti del mondo, della cultura e delle sue espressioni umane, ma, anzi, ci esorta così: «I fedeli dunque vivano in strettissima unione con gli uomini del loro tempo, e si sforzino di penetrare perfettamente il loro modo di pensare e di sentire, quali si esprimono mediante la cultura» (GS, 62). Giungere a una sintesi matura e responsabile fra fede e cultura è infatti una condizione necessaria per la perseveranza nella vocazione cristiana, ma anche un requisito indispensabile per testimoniare la fede al mondo e comunicarla agli altri in modo credibile".

Pope Leo XIV has expressed joy and enthusiasm about his upcoming Apostolic Journey to Latin America, as the Holy See Press Office confirmed his visit to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru on November 6-17.
In a statement released by the Holy See Press Office, Pope Leo expressed his hopes that the visit to Latin America will strength Christians’ commitment to proclaiming the Gospel.
“I am looking forward to returning to the continent where I’ve experienced so many moments of my life," said the Pope. "May this journey be an occasion for us to open our hearts to one another, strengthen our communion as brothers and sisters, and renew our commitment to proclaiming the Gospel with joy.”
The Pope’s doctors report that his recovery is progressing well, with recent tests confirming his good health, which will allow him to undertake his upcoming Apostolic Journey.
"Dr. Luigi Carbone confirms that the Holy Father’s recovery after the surgery continues, and the latest medical examinations attest to his good health and favorable clinical condition," said the statement.

Gospel of the Day (Luke 13,10-17)
Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the sabbath.
And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect.
When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, "Woman, you are set free of your infirmity."
He laid his hands on her, and she at once stood up straight and glorified God.
But the leader of the synagogue, indignant that Jesus had cured on the sabbath, said to the crowd in reply, "There are six days when work should be done. Come on those days to be cured, not on the sabbath day."
The Lord said to him in reply, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger and lead it out for watering?
This daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for eighteen years now, ought she not to have been set free on the sabbath day from this bondage?"
When he said this, all his adversaries were humiliated; and the whole crowd rejoiced at all the splendid deeds done by him.

This is the greatest and the first commandment.
