We haven't posted an update for a while so here goes, V2 development is still progressing and we've been working on solving a number of challenging issues... 1. Production / SMT quality. 2. Electrical/mechanical noise. 3. Power up noise. 1/

Finally we've been working on eliminating turn-on (electrical) noise, before > after pictured. This required changing some passive components and adding an extra cap. Design wise were now as close as we've ever been... 9/

Next steps will be another prototype production run with the new PCB, updated components, and hopefully no further manufacturing quality issues πŸ™ We don't have a specific timeline for this, but hopefully we'll be doing another small test production run in the next 1-2 weeks πŸ˜…

We’re excited to share some β€˜first edition’ pictures we received from our contract manufacturer this week. Pics are for us to check component placement for this pre-production test batch of 10 units being assembled for us right now πŸ˜„

This pre production batch of 10 units allows us to test the manufacturability of this design, and what are hopefully the last set of tweaks, before we move into volume production. If these 10 units pass our initial testing we’ll make a total of 20 for field trials next month πŸ˜‡ – at Auckland, New Zealand

I probably should have reached out to you earlier. 12V powered already. Although, probably overkill... I do use the @DishyPowa V1 inside.

We haven't posted an update for a while, so here goes... we think we're pretty close with our V2 design now, and have just placed an order with our contract manufacturer for 10 prototypes (as pictured).

Like a lot of hardware projects getting to this point has taken longer (and a lot more $$) than we thought, we ended up making a lot more revisions than expected, we also all have regular day jobs to hold down during the process.

We'll post further updates as we progress, we also continue to manufacturer and ship V1 stock. As a side note, if you have a big bag of spare πŸ’° and want to throw it our way so we can quit our day jobs and work on DishyPowa full time, our DM's are open πŸ˜…
