Unfortunately, due to a series of unfortunate events (coincidentally also a book series I would have loved to have been adapted by Burton) I have had to postpone the Tim Burton edition of the Disney Read-Along. It will happen eventually, just not in November. Sorry! 😥

Just finished my third book, The Paris Hours by Alex George. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This completes The Enchantress challenge and the ‘reading a book set in the same city as my favorite Disney movie’ challenge.

The final day of the readathon is here and with it comes one final question! If you could switch lives with any Disney character, who would it be and why? I would switch with Rapunzel (my reasoning will be in the following tweet.)
2
I’d pick Rapunzel because who doesn’t want to be married to Flynn Ryder?? Also, she’s one of the few Princesses with living parents lol. And, I was not born with any artistic or musical abilities, so I would love to be able to paint and sing if I switched lives with her. 💛
The End... I think I sometimes forget how much I love this movie. It’s definitely in my top 3 favorite Disney films!

Fun fact: The final dance in the film is actually a recycled animation from the final dance in Sleeping Beauty.
2
Wait a minute... Haven’t I seen him on the cover of many romance novels??

Fun fact: Paige O’Hara actually cried while recording the scene of the Beast’s death.

Fun fact: Belle’s characterization was inspired by Katharine Hepburn’s portrayal of Jo in the 1933 adaptation of Little Women.

Fun fact: Tim Curry was at one point considered for the role of the Beast.

Fun fact: in the following scene you’ll notice inconsistencies in Belle’s apron as it continuously appears, then disappears, then appears again.

Fun fact: There were darker scenes in the film that were cut including a scene where Gaston visits the asylum and the Beast drags an animal carcass (glad this was cut.)
