Now available from @vinegarsyndrome Divinity (2023) vinegarsyndrome.com/collecti… Jaxxon Pierce (Stephen Dorff, Blade), a capitalist in a now-barren Earth is responsible for manufacturing an immortality serum named “Divinity”, which was originally developed by his late father Sterling Pierce (Scott Bakula, Lord of Illusions). Two brothers (Moises Arias and Jason Genao, Ender’s Game and Logan, respectively), crash into the decaying Earth to stop Jaxxon from capitalizing on his serum, which is synthesized utilizing heinous methods and leaving an increasingly dire infertility rate in its wake. The twins hold Jaxxon hostage, dosing him with his own drug until his body becomes monstrous, setting the stage for a practical effects-fueled climax full of gruesome make-up and stop motion animation that has to be seen to be believed. Written and directed by Eddie Alcazar (Perfect), produced by Steven Soderbergh (Solaris) and gorgeously shot on 16mm black and white reversal film, DIVINITY is a sci-fi horror show like no other in recent memory. Featuring an eclectic ensemble cast that includes former teen star Bella Thorne (The DUFF), four-time Mr. Universe champion Michael O’Hearn, TV star Karrueche Tran (TNT’s Claws) and contemporary adult film performer Emily Willis, Vinegar Syndrome Pictures is proud to bring Alcazar’s lovingly crafted analog genre blast to home video following an international festival run that included nominations at Sundance and Sitges. directed by: Eddie Alcazar starring: Stephen Dorff, Scott Bakula, Bella Thorne, Michael O’Hearn, Karrueche Tran, Emily Willis 2023 / 94 min / 1.78:1 / English 5.1 Surround + 2.0 Stereo Additional info: Region A Blu-ray “The Midnight Movie Is Dead” (60 min) - an audio conversation between DIVINITY writer/director Eddie Alcazar and producer Steven Soderbergh, moderated by Vinegar Syndrome’s Justin LaLiberty “The Modern Prometheus: Divinity and Speculative Science Fiction” (16 min) - a video essay by author and film historian Samm Deighan Behind-the-scenes footage (10 min) Theatrical trailer Sundance trailer Teaser trailers with Jupiter, Miki and Ogg Still Gallery 28-page booklet with an essay by Ariel Esteban Cayer Reversible sleeve artwork #FilmTwitter #Bluray #PhysicalMedia
