I’m starting a 6-phase challenge to get job-ready and land my first SDE-1 / Python Backend Engineer role. I’ll document my journey here :- what I learn, what I build, and the milestones along the way. No daily posts, but will be posting weekly atleast. Time to get to work!! 🧿

71 articles. 750+ stars on GitHub. What started as a way to keep my articles from getting buried in my timeline has turned into a repo people actually use to learn system design, backend engineering, distributed systems, and microservices. Just added the latest HLD breakdown: Design Discord. Real-time messaging, servers and channels, presence, and scaling to millions of concurrent users. What’s inside the repo: 30 HLD breakdowns (YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, Instagram, Amazon, Discord, and more) LLD classics like parking lots and vending machines Backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, caching, concurrency A complete Distributed Systems series A complete Microservices series AI content, just getting started Everything is indexed by category in plain markdown, readable straight on GitHub. No setup, no login. Thank you to everyone who read, starred, shared, and sent feedback. You’re the reason I keep writing. More HLD, DevOps, and AI articles are on the way. github.com/harshit3011/Techn…

My 3rd article is finally here! 👀✍️ medium.com/@abhigyanjha/does… Does AI make us better developers, or just more dependent on it? I shared my experience with vibe coding, the illusion of progress, and what I'm trying to do differently. Would love to hear your thoughts!🫡

Update #3 for @hackerrank Orchestrate Oct, 2026 It's been a while, still not done, feels like never ending 😭, had to take help of Claude & ChatGPT to brainstorm, @OpenBot_ is building I stayed over last night so barely got any sleep The crowd Today Morning vs Now
Update #2 for @hackerrank Orchestrate Oct, 2026 I may have focused more on networking & side quests then actually building the agent 😅🥲 They are serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, everything is so premium 😭😭 The Agents are working nicely, I added 2 more, QA & Builder

Doing a mini project, i'm realising so many of the sql problems solved so far, atleast the simple ones could have been avoided given the right checks & constraints, or would it be an issue, and backfire in production 🤔

Today's POTD:- Not easy peasy, but simple enough Approach:- 1. Convert all date str to day nos of the year (1-365) 2. Find the intersection of the two date ranges 3. Calculate overlapping days; return 0 if there is no overlap Alice & Bob are back again ✨✨
