What a wonderful tribute to Rhal, Divyesh! Thank you for choosing to support MSF in his memory, and for helping our teams continue their vital work. ❤️

Hi Tom, NHS consultant here. The NHS is supported by impressive, innovative and ground breaking technologies provided by a wide range of outstanding multinational corporations. It is a false dichotomy to suggest to people that if we want good health care, we must align with genocide supporting organisations like Palantir. Hope that helps. Niz
Later today protesters will demand ‘No Palantir in our NHS’    While they protest, someone, somewhere will get an operation scheduled earlier, a cancer diagnosis quicker, a loved one home from hospital sooner - thanks to the software that those protesters would switch off.   Here is what you won’t hear. Trusts using the software have recorded: • 117,000 additional operations • 14.3 per cent reduction in discharge delays for long stay patients • 5.6 per cent improvement in the number of people receiving a cancer diagnosis within 28 days     As a more articulate person once said: ‘certain facts, although in a sense known to be true, are inadmissible.’

The universe can be so so cruel at times. We’ve robbed of our incredible son. Rhal you lived life to the fullest with a huge smile on the mountains, you were the most amazing human being, kind, considerate, intelligent. Your loss has broken us 😢😢

Absolute class response.
Watch how a young Scottish woman named Courtney handles an older passenger going from saying “go back to your own country,” to claiming she's proud to be racist, to completely backtracking with compliments once she realises she has no audience left. A masterclass in holding people accountable for their behavior.

Iran’s Woman, Life, Freedom movement succeeded to a remarkable extent. Women pushed back the boundaries of compulsory hijab and dress code so dramatically that daily life looks fundamentally different from before the movement. It is a social and cultural revolution from which there is no going back. As we say in Persian, water that’s passed through the stream cannot be returned.

can someone explain to me why supporting Ukraine is humanitarian but supporting Palestine is political?

1) NATO expansion espoused by Europe & US 2) Libya turned into a failed state enabling migration through Libya into Europe, again by Europe & US, #GazaGenocide‌ enabled by West, illegal war on Iran by US. But the problem as per John is Putin & Xi
I know how Macron feels. The Ukraine war, climate change and AI are a pretty alarming threesome. And maybe having leaders like Putin, Trump and Xi make it a foursome?

Just filled up my car. I'm okay with Iran having a nuclear weapon.

🎉A fantastic end to the week: “Sangita Meets…” on @zeteouk is *still* climbing Apple’s Top Ten News & Politics Podcast charts. We’re now at No.9 - and still climbing - against big, established UK brands. I’m immensely grateful to all those listening & watching. Thanks also to @nadiasawalha for trusting me with your important story. 1/

The EU and UK are going to struggle to fill their gas reserves for winter to even 70%, energy & fuel prices are rocketing, bonds are tanking for fears of inflation and these clowns are sending money to Ukraine to buy arms the US can’t supply cos they’re short

Everyday @UKLabour politicians prove they’re no better than the tories or reform. In fact they’re worse as they pretend to be progressive. Anything but
I can’t remember being more disappointed by any politician. @andyburnham needs to abolish the House of Lords. It’s a vector for corruption. Because that’s what this is. A pay-to-play capture of a UK lawmaker by Silicon Valley’s worst firm.

Ed Sheeran has completely screwed up. In the West, over the last 2.5 years, we’ve seen performers, health care workers, teachers, journalists & others lose their livelihoods for standing against the Gaza Genocide. Sheeran, who’s now a multimillionaire, misread the public mood; the majority won’t stand for this kind of bullying anymore. And, for the record, Macklemore’s use of an antisemitic costume in 2014 - for which he apologised - was utterly indefensible. However, two wrongs don’t make a right; a genocide is a crime against humanity and we must all stand against it.

A difficult watch from a London bus as it shows a man hurling racist and Islamophobic abuse at fellow passengers, repeatedly calling them “terrorists” and “Muslim bastards.” including spitting at people. As his erratic, aggressive behaviour escalates bystanders try stepping in to confront him and defend the targeted victims.

“It is not Auschwitz, but it is genocide” (A Goldberg) 10,000 missing beneath the rubble. Imagine the cries of babies, the calls of parents searching for them, fading into silence. No machinery to recover them. A monstrosity we've been watching, rationalising, for 1,075 days
I’m heartbroken. This is horrific. A multi-floor building that had been previously bombed by Israel has collapsed in Gaza on top of at least 6 families. Families are stuck and there is no way to remove the rubble and save anyone.

So depressing to see @JustinOnWeb @bbcr4today day after day giving a platform to voices who wish to see the Palestinians crushed, dispossessed & ethnically cleansed, almost never interviewing their victims & failing ever to push back & suggest that the Palestinians deserve the same rights & freedoms enjoyed by the Israelis. He seems quite content that they remain disenfranchised helots until their 'transfer'.
The Israeli-American Council chief exec, who led calls for Macklemore to be dropped from Ed Sheeran's tour, describes 'Free Palestine' as an anti-Semitic statement. Elan Carr tells @JustinOnWeb that freedom of speech doesn't give the rapper the right to 'hijack' a stage.

It’s apparently perfectly normal for the US to tell other countries who they should be friends with, trade and where they should buy their energy. Is the world expected to accept it as legitimate and completely normal?
📹 ‘Clean Up Your Act,’ US Senator Tells India And China Where To Buy Their Oil From Blumenthal demanded New Delhi and Beijing buy their energy “somewhere else,” telling both to “clean up your act.” He then declared “Ukraine’s fight is our fight,” as Washington moves to expand sanctions and potential tariffs on major buyers of Russian energy.

This 💯!
Saudi Arabia uses the same tactics as America and Israel against anyone they occupy and oppress. If you resist America, it accuses you of being a dictator and presents itself as a champion of freedom. If you resist Israel, it accuses you of being anti-Semitic. And if you resist Saudi Arabia, they will accuse you of wanting to bomb Mecca. In reality, America is not a champion of freedom and democracy, Zionists are not Semites, and Saudi Arabia is not Muslim. They want to tell the world that these countries have the right to occupy, bomb, and besiege any country they want, and that no country has the right to resist them, reject their aggression and occupation, or seek liberation from their occupation, guardianship, and hegemony. Even worse, they created an international law tailored solely to protect themselves and legitimize their crimes against the peoples of the world.
